Les Baker trying to sound all techy by regurgitating something he read on the internet while surfing for live porn streams.

I had a friend that learned the hard way and it was on a work computer. Ouch!

You may already know about this option, but if not Buffstream is the best I have ever encountered. You need to kill the "overlays" though if you understand that.
Yes. That's what I use, through reddit nfl streams. It always seems to be behind the game day thread by a minute or so, which kind of ruins it for discord.

Story of my life...always a day late and at least $10 Short!

crap. That's a good point. A lot of us stream when it's not televised, so the people who have Sunday Ticket or can watch it in their market will be ahead.
I’m willing to give it a shot and see how it goes

My nets pretty fast and gamepass isn’t really skecthy

Used to use it all the time for MMO purposes, raiding and pvp. Had to quit WoW and ESO though, was burning way too much time on them and becoming completely non-productive.

Afraid to turn it on because my old guild will try to get me to come back. And I might give in.

Been there done that. My game was Dark Age of Camelot. I was guild leader and was constantly being hounded to come back. I play a little Call of Duty but avoid on line games. They suck you in.

I play CoD Advanced Warfare on with veteran teams 9 enemies vs me and two friendly bots. My kids keep asking me to play Fortnight and Paladins. No, no, no, no.

I had a guy that worked for me years ago that lost his wife because of gaming. He would literally go home, eat dinner as fast as he could then go online. He even kept a small fridge right next to him so he didn't have to even get up for beers. One of his "friends" ended up paying attention to his wife and that was that. But it didn't change him it made it worse. I ended up firing him because he would stay up all night playing the game and smoking weed and guzzling beer and come in half in the bag and be unproductive as hell. He once fell asleep with the phone in the crook of his neck and his head leaned over like you would do if you were talking and needed both hands.

He eventually got himself back together and I rehired him. The reality check was a nasty car accident that could have killed him.

I think it was Everquest and he was a guild leader. He played about 8 hours a day on average he once told me. On his days off he would play double digit hours. He was truly addicted to it.

One year I gave him a $1,000 Christmas bonus and he spent it all on a special gaming chair. Crazy!

Ah, a fellow DAOC’er. That game sucked my life away back in the day. I loved that game. Played on Lancelot and then classic servers until EA bought mythic and ruined it like they do everything.

I played on Pellinor. My main was a friar named Stosh. He was kickasd until they nerfed reflex attack. I could beat any tank before that. It was a very fun game.

Nice, yeah friars were fun to run around on. My main was usually a minstrel named Keypek when solo or a armsman when 8 manning. My favorite gaming moments was from that game.

Admittedly, I'm a little new to it, but it seems to be the platform now for gaming, streaming, chatting, etc. I play a MMORPG and have used it to talk to other players & stuff while playing. Thought it might be cool to use it during games to chat with other members if anyone else is up for it. It's a VOIP program, so there would be *actual* talking as opposed to typing in the GDT. You can also just type if you're not into using the voice chat. If anyone is curious or semi-interested, just reply and maybe we'll try it either tomorrow or during the first playoff game.

I use it for WoW. Which MMORPG do you play?

WoW can do that to you...

I've heard that EVE Online is to WoW like Heisenberg's Crystal Meth is like is to chocolate cake.

Eve Online would require me to gain a hundred pounds, get rid of my family, and move in to my Mom's basement. :p

Yeah that game requires some serious time investment.

In 8 man groups I would don the long robes and stand back with the Wizards. It seemed that when someone would go for the wizard they mistook me for a caster. I’d jump in to protect the wizard. My staff hit for 400. So it got their attention.
