Only one way to find out.
I think people talking to one another, probably won't be as negative over the top??? It's voice to voice, so hopefully not as rude.

I don't know how to explain it other than it's a chat room that you can use to talk to people - either with your laptop's mic (or a headset), or your phone. You can also just use the chatroom to type, but most people use it to actually speak to other people (while gaming, mainly).

It's basically a message board with full voice and image/vid support. Kicks a whole lotta @$$.

Wow if the discord is anything like the game day thread no thanks lol

You can mute and control volume on anyone you want. Stream background music of any song, etc. It's pretty slick.

Also if you guys consider making a ROD channel, you can link it up with accounts & permissions on websites. Not sure how all that works but my old guild does that.

Could probably do a plug-in on the site too tbh. Again past my technical ability but it's a very savvy and cutting edge program.

That's up to @CGI_Ram to determine, but I'm not sure this board software has the capabilities to incorporate its credentials to another outside program. I know what you mean though, and it would be cool if it did.

It works with some sort of plug-in. Where you log in to discord and use a unique code you get from the website. Hard to remember, did it a couple years back I think when the guild got all tech crazy.

Never tried Runescape.
I really had no intention to, but about 10 years ago my son (who was 12 at the time) asked if I would play with him, so I did. He quit about 5 years later and I kept grinding away. It's not necessarily a great game or anything, but it's got just a shit-ton of content so it keeps you busy.

So there seems to be mild interest, so I'll set up a server tomorrow during the game and we'll see how it goes. @ramsplaya16, I may need your help so I'll hit you up if I do.
