Yeah I think all of us felt the same way, did the Rams have one more drive in them and who was going to step up besides Cooper Kupp and low and behold it was Brycen Hopkins. Many can post what they want about Hopkins, but he did not shrink in the moment made some huge catches and threw and excellent block on Kupp's 4 & 1 Play. I will never forget the Hopkins contribution.
True. I didn't want Hopkins on the field. He was a very pleasant surprise. Hat's off to him.

I think I'm in more disbelief the style they won not one, not two, but three playoff games in the fashion they did after whooping Arizona.

The Rams have the right recipe and chef for success. Let’s make sure that recipe and chef stays with the Rams. I’d love a 5-6 year run.

More than anything, I'm just in awe of what we have witnessed. The Rams winning the Super Bowl this year is not especially surprising since I felt they had a championship roster going into the season, which was bolstered by the acquisitions of Von Miller and OBJ. However, we did have our fair share of injuries along the way too. But as Colin Cowherd said, this team epitomizes the word "resilience". Through all the ups and downs, they managed to find a way. This team was mentally tough. When we got the ball back in the Super Bowl at the beginning of the final drive, I really felt confident that we would get the needed touchdown and take the lead. And when the defense got on the field afterward, I really felt confident they would get a stop to seal the win.

It's freaky how the last 6-7 minutes of the Super Bowl so closely parallel the same timeframe of the NFC championship. Rams get the ball back looking to get the go ahead score. Stafford drives them downfield. There is a great pass over the middle to Kupp that looks like the identical play (and result) in both games. The opposing D stiffens up a bit when we get in the red zone, but that works to our advantage as it ends up burning more clock. When we finally get the go-ahead score, we have less than two minutes. And a few plays after that, Aaron Donald gets his hands on the QB to force an errant throw that seals the game for us. Que Twilight Zone music.

Glad you had your confident optimism... for me, the last 3 games sent my heart rate through the roof :dizzy:

Ha! Tell me about it! You saw my Fitbit graphs so you must've gone through the same.

BTW, despite not working out, I, a 57 year-old man, burned just a touch under 5000 calories on Sunday. Being a Rams fan is great for controlling your weight!

Agreed man. Mental toughness off the charts with this year's roster. What a team. :trophy:

Sunday night: elation.
Monday: shock and almost an odd feeling of skepticism (did that really happen?)
Today: pure contentment.
Tomorrow: greed (I want another one!)

I thought the Rams were toast after the 3 game losing skid, and Stafford's whacky passes and interceptions during that period. And also at that point, pur defense somewhat sucked and Morris had to go.

Even with that, being the Rams fan I am, I bought tickets to the Cardinals Monday Night Football game in Phoenix anyways. The Rams played like a champion that night. I was in disbelief up until this game.

After that, I became a believer again, and knew we could do it. And we did! Hell Yeah Baby!

I'll say this re: Stafford and the Hall... If you think, after seeing him play in that stretch of 4 playoff games, that he's not gonna rip this league apart in the next few seasons with McVay you are out of your mind.

He will be better next season with his second camp. I think that's his MVP window. But either way he's gonna win more playoff games and maybe another championship.

This shit is just starting. The window just opened with him at QB and he fucking dunked that shit.

Then, the Super Bowl and final drive by the Titans. That was just excruciating. Every play on that drive was just insane, culminating in the final tackle, with the Titans just one lousy yard from tying up the game.

Such stupid shit that the narrative floating around is that the Titans were a yard away from winning (screw you Castaway!) the game, but hell. It actually would've been the case if Fish didn't go for 2 and failed so early in the game. But who knows. Maybe the D would've been too gassed to go on. Glad we don't live in that universe...
