You're coping with a beverage, I'm celebrating with one. Foles and cap space with the #10 pick still has me hyped.

ill jump on that wagon after some training camp and preseason looks at him. no way i can be excited in march right now. i liked the arm strength tho in the highlights on the quick 3-4 step drop bombs

I feel pretty damn good sober or not. The QB was our missing piece and we got it! Salary cap relief, solid running game in place and we have weapons.

Given the options out there Fisher and Snead did pretty damn well (so far).

I'm not so sure why you are so high on Bradford, Robo. I liked the dude too, but let's face it, hopes and dreams are all we had for the guy. Even at his best he didn't play as well as Foles at his best. This is another awesome steal that goes right along with the redskins trade. Cheer up bro, if it doesn't work out we didn't lose too much and next year is a much better draft for qbs.

He was always just around the corner from being great. Load of talent.

i was never super high on bradford cus of his injury history but he could be great when healthy. but Foles has only had one good year too. and Foles had twice the weapons bradford ever had. its a bit apples and oranges between opponents played, coaching staff, scheme, supporting cast etc. so we have no idea what we're getting when you add up a new OC and still unproven QB in foles. theres a lot of variables there and nobody should get excited yet one way or another. just nervous right now with a sudden change and still no word on the line issue. I'm not big on the whole "injury prone" type cast. that shits bad luck plain and simple. but i have heard breaking a clavicle makes it easier to break again. Foles played the pathetic East in 2013 and started rough last year. bradford when healthy lit up the West's defenses. again too many variables right now so just upset and nervous

I think deep down most fans know that Bradford could not be counted on long term. Already with two ACL injuries on the same knee under his belt. I was hoping that Bradford would be able to come back and prove people wrong. But under all of that I knew that I would not be upset if they traded him. Fact is he can't be counted on to stay healthy. It really sucks that it didn't work out here for him but I think parting ways was the best thing for both parties. Not only that, but I think the Rams won big time with this trade. A 2nd in next years draft is nice. I think the Rams got a lot better of a deal than any of us expected or hoped for. Could Bradford light it up after leaving here? Sure. But it is more likely he won't than he will. I just don't see how he can be counted on for the long term. We couldn't go through more seasons hoping he stays healthy so that we don't have to replay the last two years. Build the Oline and Foles will be fine. Foles at his best was better than Bradford at his. It is a new time and I'm excited about it. No more lingering Bradford questions.

There's no such thing as a "sure thing". If we kept Bradford there's the chance of injury again, and if you are worried about Foles clavicle then you should be just as worried about Sams knee. If we went with the draft we give up a lot of picks for someone unproven. I think this is just a safe trade to work on getting better pieces for our team. Keeping Bradford would just hurt the team by limiting who we pick up or keep to build the rest of the team.

Btw I wasnt saying you said Bradford was a sure thing. Just saying that anything can happen. Good or bad. Unfortunately for Bradford the bad outweighed the good.

With the POS oline that Bradford has played behind is there any wonder that he was injured? Putting Long in a game to test his knee and leaving Bradford in there was about the dumbest move you'll ever see. If they don't fix the line Foles will not last the full year either.

(ADD BLUE FONT HERE!) I think God wants Bradford to be an accountant and Bradfords fighting it at the expense of his knees! Obviously God doesn't think Bradford should be playing football!

I look at it like this. In the back of every Rams fan minds was the thought of SB getting hurt again and we would have to suffer through another shit season wondering what could have been.
