Gregory would not help. He could not see the field on a team with the worst defense in football.Maybe we should have inquired about Gregory? I know he's a piece of doo doo, but so is our pass rush.

There is no way that know that. Besides I'm not surprised no one wants to play for Asshole Face lolGregory would not help. He could not see the field on a team with the worst defense in football.
How about us trading a 7'th rounder for Denver NT Mike Purcell now that Bobby Brown will be out for awhile ?
That's a reasonable suggestion. How about us trading a 7'th rounder for Denver NT Mike Purcell now that Bobby Brown will be out for awhile ?
We don't have a seventh at the moment. That was sent to the Broncos along with Kenny Young for a sixth (which is the only sixth we have thus far).
OK ... an 8th rounder then ... Asshole Face seems to be having a tough time ... maybe Snead can slip one by him.We don't have a seventh at the moment. That was sent to the Broncos along with Kenny Young for a sixth (which is the only sixth we have thus far).
I think it's hysterical that I type in the name of the Broncos' coach, and it comes out as "Asshole Face".OK ... an 8th rounder then ... Asshole Face seems to be having a tough time ... maybe Snead can slip one by him.
If Denver has a 7'th, then swap our 6'th for their 7'th & Purcell.

Eh....Purcell's not for me (and I'm interested to see more of Larrell Murchison, Kobie Turner, Desjuan Johnson, and the kid on the practice squad, Cory Durden).
If I'm spending assets on a trade, it'll be a third and Michael Hoecht for Chase Young, with the promise of re-signing him to a massive deal in the offseason. He's only twenty-four. That's the kind of player you spend assets on.
And also, please trade Van Jefferson and promote Tyler motherfucking Johnson already.

We might get a 6th or 7th now that Jefferson is on the trade block. We don't have a seventh at the moment. That was sent to the Broncos along with Kenny Young for a sixth (which is the only sixth we have thus far).
Did the Rams really just trade Jefferson to the Falcons? Just heard that rumor. We might get a 6th or 7th now that Jefferson is on the trade block.

Yep, we got a 1/2 pick for him and save a Mil.Did the Rams really just trade Jefferson to the Falcons? Just heard that rumor.
Can’t lie! Pretty disappointed with that trade unless they use that money to help the OL or DE/OLB!Yep, we got a 1/2 pick for him and save a Mil.
Hell no on Hav.....u already saw what happened on the last play he was outHoecht doesn't offer any value to a Chase Young trade, Washington really needs OL help, maybe even a back-up TE since 3 of their TE's are on IR. I might offer up a combination including anyone from Havenstein, Noteboom, Brian Allen or Brycen Hopkins. Montez Sweat might be easier had than Young, and could cost something less. Sweat becomes a free agent after this season as he's fulfilled his 5'th year option, Young wasn't picked up on his potential option, so it's going to be interesting to see what happens to these two.

Interesting point about Chase Young and Montez Sweat is that Washington could only Franchise one of them, so the other will be an unrestricted free agent. Of course, either player (or both) could be re-signed by WSH.Hoecht doesn't offer any value to a Chase Young trade, Washington really needs OL help, maybe even a back-up TE since 3 of their TE's are on IR. As of last week he lead all interior DL in QB pressures. You don’t move on from him unless you are tanking the season. You must have missed the Colts game. He was playing great.I would consider moving on from AD. I know. Blasphemy. But he is 32. And he’s at the point where he would benefit immensely by playing reduced snaps on a much better dline than ours.
I know Philly has a great oline, but I can’t help thinking a 27 year old AD would’ve been able to wreak some havoc yesterday regardless. He had some moments, but for the most part he was not that effective. He’s only one guy on a line with average ability. Yes, Young and Turner show promise. But they’re rookies trying to figure out the game and the league.
Obviously, AD would have to agree to a trade. I’d try to find a move to a team with a shot at a deep playoff run. (Detroit, Cincy?)
The Rams’ pass rush is non-existent. It could be just as non-existent without AD and his hefty price tag. It’s not his fault. We just don’t have the supporting cast. We need picks and low cost-controlled talent.
This team is not beating the upper echelon teams even with a splash move this year. The guy is a warrior and it would hurt to see him go. But it’s time to see what we can get for him now before he devalues more. I wouldn’t mind seeing him team up with Hutchison in Detroit.
Only problem is you’re signaling to the team that this is without a doubt a transition year. Or another phase of the reboot... or whatever.
The good organizations move on from the legends when it’s time. You have to ask yourself... does this team have another legitimate shot at a Super Bowl before the wheels fall off of AD? I say no. Not from what I’ve seen so far this year. They just don’t have the horses.
They tried to resign Gaines. He said something about California taxes being the reason he left.If the Rams make any trades I hope they don't do it until after free agency, honestly. See what you have in this roster and what holes you can fill with cap space before unloading your cost controlled picks. If they crush free agency then maybe they can trade for a player under contract to stack onto that.
But the Rams made this bed and I think they're prepared to sleep in it for this year. They didn't have to cut Floyd or Ramsey. They could've kept Gaines. They're choosing to use this year as a reset, so no need to pivot from the plan.
Now, if it was the same amount, I get it because he ended up in Florida, where there is no State Sales Tax. If you offer him a bit more, I'm sure he would have stayed, but if I was young and had the ability to move around that would factor into my decision. They tried to resign Gaines. He said something about California taxes being the reason he left.
