Yeah, to me it seems it's about setting the table for 24' & 25'.We seem to be more caught up with the draft compensation. I don't think that was the goal at all. Everything points to this year as a throwaway year. Its all about next year and beyond. If they win enough to make the playoffs then its just a bonus. But I don't believe that is the primary focus this year. Robinson underperformed last year. He hasn't played well the past few years. Not to mention guys like Tutu need more opportunities. Something he would not get if they kept Robinson. Tutu has the chance to be the WR3 now.
So that entails:
1. Clearing cap space long-term
2. Add youth via draft, UDFA, & waiver wire during camp
3. Develop that youth to find solid starters as well as to strengthen the back end of the roster
4. Find out if recent draft picks will be a part of the future.
Then in 24' hit FA & trades to put them back into a SB window.
The question then is will Stafford & Donald be apart of a 24' & 25' window?
