Kamara only had 97 yards rushing. Still, the Rams run D was pretty bad last week and needs work to prepare and get better

They should have lost that game. If the Texan's coach played the 2nd to the last play "To Win" instead of "Not To Lose" they would have taken an L.

Brees only threw 1 pass that traveled over 20 yards in the air btw.

Exactly my first thought. Wade wouldnt have played that prevent defense BS at the end. The Texans practically gave the Saints a FG.

No their defense was sub par yesterday. I hope Coach McVay watched their safeties last night, their coverage was very suspect.

I think the big thing is to limit Michael Thomas like they did in the NFC championship game and bend but don't break with Kamara. Kamara is just an extremely hard matchup for any team. We saw that last night vs the Texans.

On grass I don't think he is quite as tough. Still great, but he is murder in that dome.

If Brees only threw a 20 yard pass then I'm worried he's saving his arm for our secondary. If he has the time he'll sling it far. Rams better be ready.

If I remember correctly, Aaron Donald was getting great push up the middle a few months ago, and if they try what the Panthers did last week, they will get a healthy dose of Fowler. The Rams line shut Kamara down. The Saints will be in LA and not in the Dome, and they face a greater team than the Texans...
They are in a World of Shyte.
The crowd noise they have at the dome gives the Dline a huge advantage. The lack of noise for the O is also a big advantage. They won't run on us like they did Houston.

Have to really hope Weddle is back for this game. I think he makes a big difference against guys like Kamara, not to mention Thomas. Donald needs to make his presence felt. Littleton is also going to have his hands full. We need to bring our A game to this one.

It's going to be a great test for Rams front five DL vs the Saints OL. Those two Saint OT's are very good it is the middle of that OL that should be attacked. Stunts should be multiplied this Sunday Afternoon. ER's Dante Fowler Jr Clay Matthews & even rookie Og Okoronkwo should be called on often going inside for some Brees face time.

Wade got an excellent warm up this past Sunday in dealing with Christian McCafferey in preparing him & his defense for facing Alvin Kamara. I believe that RB CM may be faster than RB AK however AK is just more dangerous to a defense than CM. I do think the field grass & dirt in the Memorial Coliseum is a BIG negative for AK in comparison to the turf @ home.

The ugly :poop: (n)showing by top reserve 4 yr safety Marqui Christian had better be addressed by Wade. MC show'd some of his past issues again with a total inability to bring down the RB. MC missed @ least a dozen tackles & several resulted in points for Carolina.

I am hoping that safety Taylor Rapp can finally knock that smirk off the face of OB/WR Tayson Hill!:censored:

Kamara is their go-to when they need down/distance. You gotta Belichick that BS and scheme it up to remove him. He is the #1 threat.

Thomas is their other plus threat. He can get a few catches whatever, key is him not going off and he shouldn't against our secondary.

Saints are gonna put up some points, they're a top offense with a top QB who has seen it all. But with all QBs you gotta apply pressure and I think we'll do that. The Texans did a great job when they got some pressure on Brees.

IMO: Remove Kamara. Quick pressure on Brees. Keep your zones rolled up tight. They might hit a deep shot but whatever. Key is avoiding death by a thousand completions IMO.

My hope is that their asshole faced coach challenges 2 different PI non-calls on our D and loses both.

Then, McSlay challenges 2 different PI calls on our D and they reverse both. The last reversal here actually results in an aints turnover because they were going for it on 4th down and all we have to do at that point is take a knee 3 times to run out the clock for the victory.

Can you just imagine the shear beauty of that happening? Especially in that order.

....and Breese still under threw a few of those.
YAC is diminishing in N.O.

Actually. I would love to see us win on a missed PI call in their redzone.
Payton would lose his shit.

Brees threw the ball down field one time the whole game. In the dome we held them under 300 yards - I think we know how to play Kamara.

The only thing I'm concerned about is their OL vs our DL - Donald has largely been a nonfactor the last few times we played them, and their OL is really, really good.
