I watch Ram games with my dog Gabe aka the Gabester. His favorite player on defense is Michael Brockers. I am not fooling here. When Brockers stops the run, sacks the QB, bats down an attempted pass, he barks like crazy. He'll even jump off the couch or chair and run up to the TV and bark while on his hind legs. I ain't kidding.
His favorite offensive player is Robert Woods. Just loves him. Same routine when Woods catches a pass, runs the football on an end around play, and turns a 6-yard screen pass to a 45-yard gain, he barks like a crazy. My wife Marsha who is upstairs yells Rams made a big play or Woods must've scored a TD. We're looking forward to Sunday night. Gabe can't stand the 49ers. Whenever he sees them on TV play the Rams, be makes noises like he's going to barf. And once again I ain't kidding. Oh yeah, me and the Gabester give high fives.

Speaking of Tavon, how about Tye Hill 15th overall in 2006! I think we could have used Tarot cards for a better draft.
Boy o boy speaking of Tavon.

I posted on Stl Today we should've stayed at 15 and taken Hopkins, boy did I get blasted lol.

McVay needs to do a better job working the refs re: Donald being held IMO. It happens so often that the refs almost accept it. Even when it's blatant like this one where 74 pulls him and keeps him from blowing up that 3rd and 2 run that gained 3 yards and a first down:

I wish he would say something but maybe it’s smart he doesn’t ..... the refs are just vindictive enough to not call anything for the rams if the HC calls em out on it

Aaron Donald needs a TD.

The odds are that he'll eventually get one on a strip sack or fumble recovery etc, which is great but...

What i REALLY want to see is McV draw up some evil Death Star plans to give AD touches on the goal line in garbage time/blowout situations. Against the Niners would be ideal.

I can see it now. Rams up 30-6 early 4th qtr.
1st and goal at the 1.
Two TE look.
Goff sends Woods into jet motion.
The defense looks in and Aaron Donald is lined up at HB....

iu

Of course, McV is gonna have to set the table first with goal line play-action with Donald in there once every three games or so.

Aaron Donald needs a TD.

There was a fumble which Aaron Donald scooped and ran it back for twenty yards and he looked good! I mean, he moved with the ball like a real RB and not like a Defensive Tackle rumbling down the field. I would post a link, but the play was eliminated due to a penalty.

I remember that. We know he's a strong, fast, agile and ummm determined football player.

The fan base would explode with an Aaron Donald TD run. I mean explode....like a supernova.

He'd be featured by Kyle Brandt's Angry Run segment on GMFB

I heard a guy on ESPN put this in perspective about Donald. He said Donald plays the 2, 3, 5, and 9 technic (Idk if it's a 7 or I cant remember if he said it)... Then he went on to explained its not even possible to even practice all those different positions. He also explained that in football you have different positions and thats why they all have NAMES, and Donald plays EVERY POSTITION on the DL and that defies logic... He can be a hall of famer at any DL position and NOBODY in NFL history could say the same. Now thats perception for that ass right there!!!

LT was an OLB'er who was a predator who did his damage from the outer edges away from the melee & congestion of the LOS. Aaron Donald does his heavy duty lifting work from the very middle where humanity collide in a massive heap. I am much more impressed with AD .
LT, one-trick pony

Myles Garrett edges Aaron Donald in midseason Defensive Player of the Year voting

Aaron Donald is tied for the league lead with nine sacks, has the most pressures of any player (48) and already has 15 quarterback hits in just eight games. He’s been absolutely dominant once again for the Rams, but he’s still not the unanimous favorite to win Defensive Player of the Year.

USA TODAY’s columnists each voted for the NFL’s most important awards at the midway point and for Defensive Player of the Year, Donald only received two of seven votes. The others all voted for Myles Garrett, who’s tied with Donald for the league lead at nine sacks.

Donald was the only Rams player to receive a vote for any of the awards, which isn’t surprising. They don’t have a true MVP candidate outside of Donald, and no one on offense is putting up big enough numbers to be considered for Offensive Player of the Year.

Cooper Kupp could technically be a contender for Comeback Player of the Year, but now with Alex Smith starting for Washington, he probably has that wrapped up after his miraculous recovery from a gruesome leg injury. Smith received six of seven votes from USA TODAY’s panel.

There’s still a long way to go with eight games remaining for most teams, so Donald will have a chance to pull away from Garrett. But there’s no doubt they’re the top two candidates for that award.
