Hourly report says chance of precipitation for the 3 hours is close to 100 percent. I think we can safely say its gonna be a snow day. Should be interesting. Stafford played a number of games in Green Bay and Chicago during his Detroit years. And some years before Minnesota built a dome. So he's not completely inexperienced to play in bad weather. Plus, I'm sure he remembers that game in Philly.

I don’t like super cold weather and potentially snow for the Rams and our passing attack. Philly is probably are better suited for that type of game (as usual).

Having said that, if I were Philly, I’d also be concerned about how the weather will impact the game. They are big favorites and rightly so. Weather impacting the game benefits a big underdog because it throws off the whole normality of the game. As a big favorite who has the better talent, you want normal conditions.

FWIW the weather folks said it wasn’t going to rain here today and they were wrong. Snow forecast for tomorrow already coming down a bit. The truth is it’s hard to predict future with any certainty

Give em hell! But seriously, that fan base is easily the worst in the league. Opposing fans are not welcome. They don't care if you're an elderly lady, little kid, young, old and everywhere in between. They will harass and even threaten from what I've heard.

When I was a kid I woulda loved to play in snow.
Ditto - though in New England, we often had snow. What I recall is that in pickup football, you just don't have the equipment necessary - cleats, gloves - not to mention helmets and pads! So, what usually happened was one good juke by the runner - and it was to the house, baby! Not so much fun, for sure.

Of the other side of the coin - because you can't stop, turn or move quick, was the unintended collision disasters where you did get injured - because, you know - momentum! :woozy2:

Stafford completed just 10 of 25 passes for 151 yards in the 34-20 loss, fumbling it five times but losing just one of those fumbles.

"Lincoln Financial Field features 28 miles of heating pipes that are dug 11 inches deep and divided into six zones, per the team’s website. There are 24 soil thermometers that send readings to the boilers, which help heat the field to approximately 60 degrees."

What can you really do to prepare for something like this? Do you spend some practice time with an artificially slippery ball? It seems like you have to find some balance between putting in the game plan for the opponent and prepping for the weather. Seems like a tough balance to find.

I would prefer him to Schrader as the 3rd RB.
Also, he possibly could be used in a FB role. He is listed at 6-0 238. Have to be able to change things on the fly in a situation like this and he was here last year so he knows the system.

The key will be how windy is it? If the wind is not too bad, it will be easier for our WRs to get open on a slippery field since they know where they are going. So if Stafford can throw it okay, it could be an advantage.

It would be so sad if Barkley or Hurts slipped and pulled a hammy.

We still might lose but I like the snow slowing down the eagles run game.

If they can’t throw we can stack the box and make it a slug fest.

The key here in regards to weather in Philly, especially when it comes to snow totals, is that they are often much lower in the city than in the suburbs. I live 30 miles northwest of Philly and we are supoosed to get 5-8 inches.
In the city they are calling for 2-3 inches. Might start out as rain first since its normally warmer in the city as you are closer to the coast.

The wind is what we need to watch. I see forcasts for 8-10 mph. Not great, but could be worse. We have to be able to throw the ball, and wind could be the huge factor in that.

I am still stuck going to a wedding taste testing event. My son is getting married this Spring and we are supposed to attend this event where you sample different dishes from the caterer so they can decide on what to serve at their wedding. My son and I are hoping they cancel it, but not looking good thus far.

Will probably be home in time for early 3rd quarter. Hopefully it's still a game at that point.

You are a good man and a better father. Seriously though, couldn't they move the tasting a day or two? The wedding is not for months! :part:

Yeah, that was my thought, but apparently there could be 50 couples going this and there are only a few dates where the caterer does this and the next one is in March and their wedding is in early May, thus not enough time to get invites out etc...

Plus, one sad side note is his girlfriend lost both her parents at a young age, one to cancer the other to a car accident. So my wife and I are obviously very involved in this for both of them. So can't say no.

Well, they didn't elevate Freeman from the PS for tomorrow. They elevated Accuri & Keir Thomas according to Jourdan.

Wow! Certainly a plot twist. As I said, you and the Mrs. are good people!
