I know I'm gonna get trashed for this, but as a Rams fan for a little over 45 years, I find this whole thing embarrassing. If the Rams had to go to Levi's stadium for the NFC championship game to against play against the Whiners and they said no Ram fans aloud, You would all be pitching a fit!! Hell I would!! I know someone said this is happened before at other stadiums, but I've never seen it before. Doing this makes us look like such pu$$ies imo. I think the Rams front office just gave the Whiners a little more incentive. When this news came out I was truly embarrassed. I'm coming to the game from Sacramento, If they didn't let me in because of my area code I would sue. I would still love and support our Rams, But I would sue in a heartbeat. GO RAMS!!! Let's get this 9er monkey off our backs!!
well they had no choice after our last home game the offense had to go silent count.

I
I had 4 tix pre-purchased for next game and managed to get two more for $1300 (decent seats, 300 level). The whole transaction occurred outside of ticketmaster. I had to send a series of pics with me in rams gear to the seller. Seller got more than 2x FV, I got for half of TM prices. Both of us kept two more red jerseys out of SOFI.
Wish I had that hook up. I've been scoping out the tickets to go but mofos are up charging way too much for me to go so far, crazy. Reach out to me if you're a Ram fan that doesn't want to go cuz this Rams fan will go in ur place for a fair price lol

Can't believe we're still talking about something that is so blatantly obvious. This was completely expected. Why be surprised?

Had the NFL stuck with their initial veto when Frontiere wanted to move the team, we'd have had GSoT in LA and they'd be like the Dodgers and Lakers today and this would not at all be an issue.

The owners are sleeping in the bed they made, and we get to be embarrassed until we get the fanbase back to what it should be.

I'd bet that if the rams have the same problem with niner fans being such a significant part of the crowd, they will internally address this to see what they can do to limit that.

Give more tickets away to locals. Hell, only let in fans wearing at least one piece of ram gear. I'm sure with the databases they have access to and some good ol fashion ram ingenuity, they can devise a plan to limit opposing fans annoying presence, at least in the playoffs.

I don't care who's fault it is that this is the situation but we can't have every playoff game going forward being played in front of a semi hostile crowd. That could be a deciding factor for playoff games in the future.

I posted about this back when the 9ers owned SoFi in week 18. This was destined to happen. From the day I saw how many seats were in the new stadium (75K, expandable to 100K!), and then saw what my season tickets were per game (and I'm only in the 400 section), I knew this was inevitable.

I love Kroenke for bringing my team back, but damn I wish he would have been satisfied with concession, NFL/other commercial revenue from that megacomplex, and TV contracts. He could have created a better vibe in the stadium by seating only about 50K and charging about 1/2 of the current ticket price. I think he would have guaranteed sellouts to real fans, who would never be tempted to resell to recoup all the losses during the year because the supply far outweighs demand in that big a place.

Adding insult to injury was during the sales process, they said my tickets would be capped at $100 per, and now "big" games during the year are about $200. Total bait and switch. Playoffs, of course, are much more but I can understand that at least.
I'm with you about the cost. I can't find anyone to go with me as they don't want to pay $1000 for 1 game.

I dont believe its season ticket holders per se. They probably sold for the AZ game as well.

Regular ol Rams fans could afford the AZ game so they bought em on the secondary market for reasonable prices. This game the regular Ol Ram fans are most likely priced out.

What we need is Snoop/Dre or Danny Trejo to buy a S ton of these and give em to Rams fans that are priced out of the market.
I don’t see how regular ol Rams fans could be priced out any more than 9er fans.

Personally I'm ok with whiner fans being in the stadium this weekend. I want them all there to see the ass whoopin we're going to lay on their shit bag team. I want them so upset their crying big ole crocodile tears into their rose` and wiping them away with their brie. And I want those Rams fans that have testicular fortitude on their phones recording these shit stains and posting it all over the internet.

I want them making our team money so that it's easier to fund new practice facilities and other amenities for the players so that free agents look at the difference between our two teams facilities and they beg to come to the Rams.

I also want the team to start tracking those people with season ticket licenses who sell them all and revoke them so that real fans can purchase them because the only thing that's worse than a whiner fan is a scumbag ticket scalper in LA that sells tickets to the scum bag pieces of shit who root for the the whiners.

Faithful always struck me as a comical title to give yourselves when just like every other team when they're bad these fans don't show up anymore than other teams. Faithful my ass

I think the 40whiner faithless are gonna be extra loud Sunday because of all the news going around of banning whiner fans and asking home ticket holders not to sell to them. Gas to the fire, fuck 'em all anyway. But it could be like - anyone remember when the visiting QB used to pull out and talk to the ref during hostile crowd noise in the 80's? And then they just got louder when the visiting team continued? Gonna be noise like that, angry assholes in red... maybe even near Aint Home crowd noise. I hope it's not true but I would expect it just in case. Superdome noise against the damn home team is bullshit. I hope I'm not overreacting here, just preparing to hear the worst. Having that feeling that if it gets really out of hand there will be more strict mandates next time, but sucks that it's too late for this time. I really want to punch a whiner fan in the face, seriously.

If you look at the tickets up for re-sale on the NFL Rams website, there are whole rows up for sale. That's not fans selling their seats. The problem isn't the fans, it's the ticket brokers. They buy up as many season tickets as they can before the season starts when they first go on sale so they can sell them at a profit. Now that they own all of those season tickets, they have first priority to buy them for the playoffs where the mark up is through the roof. It's the first season with fans at SOFI and the stadium has been tabbed as a must see destination ever since it opened, not only for football fans but for everybody. Thought they wouldn't take advantage of that?

Fucking posers from Oakland have no problem maintaining a fan base large enough to turn a squatters game into a problem.

There are plenty of us who never waivered in our Ram fandom.

I don’t know we hat the answer is to fill the place. Did GSoT have this problem??

The problem is that a lot of well healed season ticket holders (I refuse to refer to these soulless sonsabitches as "fans") gobbled up all of the extra tickets so that none went on sale to the general public (so no worries about SF fans buying THOSE all up) only to flip them. Just look at SeatGeek, TicketMaster and other sites... looks like half of the fucking stadium is up for resale...

I don't think geographic restrictions are great because fans who no longer live near them can't go.

That said, I blame the season ticket holder POSes who think it's appropriate for the first NFCCG in the new building to be filled with Red for a few grand. That place should be so blue, it brings Patsy Cline back to life!!!

These "flippers" are the same assholes who park in handicap spots who aren't handicapped, leave penny tips for a server for their party of 15 and think it's funny to take all of the Halloween Candy from someone's bucket with a "Please take one" sign on it.

These are NOT good people.

They're worse than the Dutch!!!
This is true, but if they hadn't pre-bought those tix before the game then the same niners fans would have bought them without the resale markup.

I bought six total tix for this weekend. My two season tix seats were cheap- $160 each and automatically purchased. I bought the next two Friday (before the green bay game) on speculation. Same section, but now $312 each. After the Rams win I bought two more (resale) tix in a nearby section. This time it was $650 each (and that was a only for rams fans deal from seller).

If the scalpers didn't buy the tix up before the niner game, those same niners fans would have bought them all on speculation Saturday night (at SOFI and Tampa with non-game refunded).

The Rams fans who can't find tickets now missed their opportunity to buy refundable tickets last week. If the scalpers hadn't bought them before the niner game then they would have gone to niner fans for less. This is partly on our fan base for not thinking about tickets until Sunday night. Niners fan base is wealthy and organized. I hate them, but this is also on every LA Market rams fan who didn't make this game a priority after week 18.

Deebo can go suck a giraffe's dick. I hate that guy more than any other 69er who has ever been on that team. I hope Donald squashes him like the annoying housefly he is, and buries him six-feet-fucking-under.

This is our opportunity to really do something special and we have to deal with this shit. I hope this actually motivates the Rams even more and doesn't break their spirit. I knew this approach would create an out cry and a narrative of let's won for our fans they deserve this. Hopefully the Rams understand they need to win it for themselves and in this case actually not give a shit about us fans. Time for we not me to actually mean we as in there fellow teammates as a whole and stomp a mud hole in these dweeby puss whiners. I don't think I have ever wanted a win more. Obviously Superbowl but this has so much more attached to it it's personal at this point. I want to decimate them and send that rat faced weasel home for good. We gave you life we need to take it away!!!!

Only the weak are concerned with how things look. What's important is how things are. Is how it looks going to score is a touchdown? Is how it looks going to force a 3 and out? Function over form.

You and me both. Dee-Bozo has been trash talking (and posting crap on social media) ever since Donald first said "Who?"

Bozo first said something like "Rams have never beaten us since I was on the team." Fuck that loser... that sorry ass Super Bowl choker.

I'm so I'm uninformed on this process... you're saying that these twats horde tickets and then resell and make profits? Isn't that like snatching all the shit early before fans do and jacking it up so they have to pay more instead of just buying straight at box office prices? Like the fuckwads who were buying all the sanitizer in 2020 and jacking all the shit up? That's disgusting. Seriously I'm so out of it with this practice, probably been happening decades ago. So what kind of service do these broke dicks offer? None just we got them before you so now you pay me this much? This whole whiner fans bullshit plus ticket hording... I'm gonna have to take an edible and relax!
