As others have said - there will be some red in the stadium. The team can make it a miserable afternoon for these people and the worst money that they have ever spent. Can you imagine dropping thousands of dollars to go to an away stadium and watch your team get smoked? Fans all over pointing and laughing at you?

Anyone trying to enter the stadium wearing a red jersey needs to follow security for a special cavity search in the back room.

But they might actually like that. . . .
Security officers.... look ma, no hands :laugh2:

Watching the game at my sister's house who is a die hard Niner's fan, should be fun either way, I was 9 years old last time this happened NFCC, we got a FG!!! From Langsford.

I have enough in savings to go to the game but would only with my father, at birth I was born a Rams fan,4 years ago he lost it when the players kneeled. He's missed so much recent Rams team success (overall we've been pretty badass), I would never get a solo ticket to go alone, even a massive ROD formation at tailgate and or the game. End of RAMble.

I'm happy beyond words earned it once again to the NFCC and at Our House. A WIN would be indescribable.
I’m the same age then and remember this very well! I’m ready for some revenge on those bitches!

This began my hatred from those sons a bitches!

And if you look at the ticket maps for the 2nd party resell sites... it seems like half of the damn stadium is up for sale.
I posted about this back when the 9ers owned SoFi in week 18. This was destined to happen. From the day I saw how many seats were in the new stadium (75K, expandable to 100K!), and then saw what my season tickets were per game (and I'm only in the 400 section), I knew this was inevitable.

I love Kroenke for bringing my team back, but damn I wish he would have been satisfied with concession, NFL/other commercial revenue from that megacomplex, and TV contracts. He could have created a better vibe in the stadium by seating only about 50K and charging about 1/2 of the current ticket price. I think he would have guaranteed sellouts to real fans, who would never be tempted to resell to recoup all the losses during the year because the supply far outweighs demand in that big a place.

Adding insult to injury was during the sales process, they said my tickets would be capped at $100 per, and now "big" games during the year are about $200. Total bait and switch. Playoffs, of course, are much more but I can understand that at least.

I'm just mad at the people in the LA area who see sports tickets as an arbitrage opportunity.

It's like every fucking thing on the planet is solely for profit.

We're not allowed to have any art, music, sport, culture of ANY kind that's not gated behind some excessively large money transaction that specifically removes that very art, music, sport or culture from the very people those efforts were meant for. It's fan gentrification. A band gets big and all the real fans can't get into the venue... Teams suck and you see the hardcore fans showing up... they get good and those same fans are priced out of the games... when those were the very fans who should be rewarded for their dedication!!! Maybe it's just a massive pet peeve of mine, but I don't think so.

Worse, these arbitrage assholes seem to take pleasure in ruining the experience like a griefer in a video game who thinks it's awesome to kill beginners in the beginning area and make their experience suck. They WANT to sell to opposing fans because they pay more and that's their score keeping... money.

I lament this because I remember when this wasn't normal...even in LA. I know I'm old, but there was a time when every last thing wasn't about money and fans actually cared... insofar as it was almost unheard of for season ticket holders to sell their tickets... at least at the levels we're seeing now.

So, I don't blame Kroenke. He made the best stadium in the world and he's asked a fair price. Rams fans have been willing to pay it.

What's frustrating is that because it's LA (and I grew up there and lived there until about 13 years ago) that it's a RELO city with folks from all over, so you'll have fans from every team in LA. That's fine.

But our place is turning out to be what we ridiculed Vegas for being... an extra home game for every team that travels... and in my humble opinion... it's gross.

Sorry, but it just feels like we're not allowed to care about anything because everything has a fucking price tag on it and I'm that weirdo that doesn't think everything does.

Life goes on and we're kicking their ass even if the entire Bay area were in the stands.

GO RAMS!!! (even if the stadium looks massively red)

I’m doing a slow burn about former ROD member Poppinfresh. The asshole comes into the Celebration thread, to say that the Ram will lose anyway to the Niners and so he quickly took advantage of the secondary market. Two tickets sold to 49er fans, netting him $4000. He’s a fucking traitor that was finding an excuse to cash in for filthy Niner fan money. Real fans don’t do that. I hope he quits the Rams because the Ramily doesn’t need him..
You can not be a ram fan and sell NFC championship tickets to a niner fan . Goes beyond logic. Impossible, just no way in hell. I don't care if your starving to death , can't do it.

Don't even know what the point is of being a season ticket holder if you don't want to attend and show your support for the team in the biggest game of the year. The Rams were a presumptive SB pick from early in the offseason. You had to know there was a distinct possibility they could end up playing deep into the postseason.

Hope it's a playoff epic, once in a lifetime experience as a sports fan and the jerks who sold out end up kicking themselves, knowing they could've been there and shared in the experience but really missed out.

I'm confused. Are tickets for this game really that much more expensive than the first playoff game? We had an amazing turn out.

Why would season ticket holders attend that game but sell tickets for this one. I get that it's money but....seems odd to me.

I dont believe its season ticket holders per se. They probably sold for the AZ game as well.

Regular ol Rams fans could afford the AZ game so they bought em on the secondary market for reasonable prices. This game the regular Ol Ram fans are most likely priced out.

What we need is Snoop/Dre or Danny Trejo to buy a S ton of these and give em to Rams fans that are priced out of the market.

They're not really fans.

It's casual entertainment that they can afford. And when they seen an arbitrage opportunity, it doesn't phase them to take it... because they never gave a shit about the Rams or winning or anyone else in the stadium.

Why those selfish fucks can't just watch from home and then take expensive vacations or buy more shit they don't need, I'll never know.

The biggest losers in this are Rams fans who might have wanted to go, but are priced out by these assholes.

It's part of why I really enjoyed the COVID season. REAL fans wanted to be there for the experience. Those assholes were upset because they couldn't flip the tickets to highly in demand games to essentially have season tickets for either free or even make money on the deal and still see a few games.

What's ironic is that we'll have more "home team" support in the Super Bowl than in the NFCCG and most of those tickets are sold to folks who aren't season ticket holders. They're corporate entities that see no value in selling them as either they keep them or give them away to valued clients.

But far too many of the well-healed season ticket holders suck ass rn and we can only hope as we continue to win that actual fans displace these leeches.

By the way, I'm really holding back on this because I despise these folks probably more than I should... but I fucking HATE seeing all that red in our house!!!

If you're a Rams fan, and you sell your tickets to 49ers fans. You're now a 49er fan.

You just know that there's going to be a ton of red there on Sunday, and it's going to make us look worse for trying to prevent it and it still happening.

LA fans are fickle but they do come out for a winner. Now that the Rams have a shot at a super bowl in their new stadium LA fans will be there in abundance. And the stadium is actually giving refunds to people who don't have a greater LA address. They also are limiting mass ticket sales. Giving all of that, the seats sold out fast. There will be 9er fans there but not like the last game.
The Rams just need to prepare for it. Tickets for the SB if they get there will not be controlled like with this game.

Personally I'm ok with whiner fans being in the stadium this weekend. I want them all there to see the ass whoopin we're going to lay on their shit bag team. I want them so upset their crying big ole crocodile tears into their rose` and wiping them away with their brie. And I want those Rams fans that have testicular fortitude on their phones recording these shit stains and posting it all over the internet.

I want them making our team money so that it's easier to fund new practice facilities and other amenities for the players so that free agents look at the difference between our two teams facilities and they beg to come to the Rams.

I also want the team to start tracking those people with season ticket licenses who sell them all and revoke them so that real fans can purchase them because the only thing that's worse than a whiner fan is a scumbag ticket scalper in LA that sells tickets to the scum bag pieces of shit who root for the the whiners.

Faithful always struck me as a comical title to give yourselves when just like every other team when they're bad these fans don't show up anymore than other teams. Faithful my ass

I know I'm gonna get trashed for this, but as a Rams fan for a little over 45 years, I find this whole thing embarrassing. If the Rams had to go to Levi's stadium for the NFC championship game to against play against the Whiners and they said no Ram fans aloud, You would all be pitching a fit!! Hell I would!! I know someone said this is happened before at other stadiums, but I've never seen it before. Doing this makes us look like such pu$$ies imo. I think the Rams front office just gave the Whiners a little more incentive. When this news came out I was truly embarrassed. I'm coming to the game from Sacramento, If they didn't let me in because of my area code I would sue. I would still love and support our Rams, But I would sue in a heartbeat. GO RAMS!!! Let's get this 9er monkey off our backs!!

The problem isn't that there are not enough devoted rams fans. The problem is the cost. As an owner I would would much rather see more rams fans in attendance at lower ticket profit, than alot more visitor fans at slightly higher profit.

I mean, it would really piss me off That I just spent 6 billion dollars on the finest venue on earth, to have my team play a conference championship game having to use a silent count due to the high attendance of obnoxious niner fans. Fuck that. It's my 6 billion, my team, if you want to whine about my ticket policy for opponents fans, go fuck yourself
When one group can pay higher ticket prices than another fan base it insinuates that fan base is larger. Which I think is the case. There are more 9er fans than Rams fans. There may even be more of them than LA fans in LA who knows. Most are front running bags of shit but numbers are numbers. And in that bell curve you would have in financial capability of said fan base as a larger group they'll have more people with means to buy those pricier tickets.

.

If the crowd has more whiner fans than Rams fans for the nfc championship game the Rams will be the laughing stock of the league.

.
It's gonna happen. I think it'll be 50/50. And the Rams are going to need to figure out some shit in terms of how they do things.

Like for example how about giving a large number of tickets to booster clubs before they go on sale. It would suck to lose the income from those but if you're more concerned with a good home field advantage maybe it's a price worth paying.
