Think that's a huge mistake unless they actually trade for Ramsey, uncover some hidden UDFA gems, or if we have a surprise current player that improves by leaps and bounds. At least one player there would have been nice. This draft looks really strong overall with only one potential complaint, that being no CB. Rams obviously like their boys back there.
What about OLT2?This draft looks really strong overall with only one potential complaint, that being no CB. Rams obviously like their boys back there.
I suppose best way to summarize that is you can't solve everything in one draft. Every team has those areas of weakness. Ours is gonna be that Jackson has to stay healthy or we fucked. What about OLT2?
BC
We only gave up two 6th rounders to Minnesota (201 and 202). No 2026 picks. So on the weekend we gave up 1 2026 pick, a fourth rounder.Huge area of need! Does anybody know what picks we have next year after this move?
I didn't expect much at CB. Where I'm concerned is the lack of OT. I don't know what the plan is for OT3. Really felt we needed to upgrade. This draft looks really strong overall with only one potential complaint, that being no CB. Rams obviously like their boys back there.
Still a couple vet free agents out there that wouldn't be bad as 1 or 2 year rental swing tackles. Also a couple draft picks who could be interesting.I suppose best way to summarize that is you can't solve everything in one draft. Every team has those areas of weakness. Yeah I'd be calling Smith's agents.Still a couple vet free agents out there that wouldn't be bad as 1 or 2 year rental swing tackles. Also a couple draft picks who could be interesting.
Former 1st round pick Forbes. He puts it together then season (I hope).Think that's a huge mistake unless they actually trade for Ramsey, uncover some hidden UDFA gems, or if we have a surprise current player that improves by leaps and bounds. At least one player there would have been nice.
True, but I can say if Jordan Mailata goes down or Lane Johnson, and the Eagles will have issues. Hurts us more with an inmobile QB, but not many teams can lose a LT and survive.I suppose best way to summarize that is you can't solve everything in one draft. You have a nice talk with him then. I'll call some othersYeah I'd be calling Smith's agents.
Another vet: Noteboom!!Still a couple vet free agents out there that wouldn't be bad as 1 or 2 year rental swing tackles. Also a couple draft picks who could be interesting.
Yeah. I wanted him last offseason too. Have always respected his pass pro.You have a nice talk with him then. I'll call some others
Assuming you mean Tyron
The Horns have to first feed Forbes intravenously until he actually looks like a primetime NFL starting CB. Scarecrows won't get the job done against some of the beefy WRs, TEs, & RBs he will face.Former 1st round pick Forbes. He puts it together then season (I hope).
Agreed. But until you're out of cap space trying to get that roster as good as possible is the goal. So it's a fair point that swing OT is a potential target for us.True, but I can say if Jordan Mailata goes down or Lane Johnson, and the Eagles will have issues.
