Huh. Thought I read somewhere that Westbrooks' contract was the most that the Rams gave to any player and that it was guaranteed to some extent. I apologize for that.

It was the most given to one of this years UDFA. But it in no way makes him untouchable. They are on the hook for $50K if they release him.

I agree. It doesn't make Westbrooks untouchable. The contract they gave Carrington doesn't make him untouchable either, especially given that Carrington has an injury history. As for me? I just want to see the best player win, whether they're young or a veteran. And the players I listed are the ones who I feel best help this team in both the short and long term.

So, what have you seen that's different? I also don't think Moe makes the roster, even while Bailey is out. I think Michael Sam gets that spot, they leave the WR corps alone, and let Sam prove himself further on special teams.

Neither Roberson or Reid will make this 53 man roster over McGee.

People tend to forget that the ONLY reason these players are getting the anything more than 3rd team reps is that for the second PS game in a row, there were 3 CB ahead of them on the depth chart not dressed, Jenkins, Woodard, and Gaines were all inactive last night. And like it or not, they are ALL ahead of BOTH Reid in every instance.

And it is VERY unlikely that BOTH Carrington and Conrath get cut, One most likely, but not both.

Then why would Bayer replace him? Bayer is fighting to prove he is the 4th best TE on our roster.

Not sure how to make room for Roberson. Hopefully he makes it harder in the coaching staff over the next two weeks. Same with Reid. Had to include Christian Bryant. Just see him flyin around and know what a football player he is. I just took the leap and went with both Westbrooks and Sam over Carrington or Conrath. Frankly, Carrington got replaced by Donald as our penetrating DT and Conrath hadn't really showed up well when he's had the chance. I put Gilbert on the PS because we need the roster space.

Four your eyes only...Lance Kendrick made a nice catch & is a (FA next season) solid TE.Last year at this time he was coming off an injury.
Granite Jared Cook gets paid(over paid)a lot of $$$money,but he is one of the best passing TE's in Rams history with his first year numbers.
You can go back to your Fearsome Foursome days as well.Wait until they start game planning (calling plays)for Cook.
I think Sam Bradford throws for over 3,000 yards easy.I think Cook will have 700 yards & 5 TD's this season. I think it is childish to leave him off the roster.

I like your list. The only thing that bothers me is McGee. I know he's more along then Roberson and Reid. But you have 11 DBs making the team. If we carry that many, McGee better stop getting beat like a drum if he's gonna get that last spot. He's not beating out any of the other corners you listed. If Roberson keeps improving, and McGee stays bad, I hope Roberson takes his job.
