Just curious but can the RB and QB do it by themselves? Cause I don't see many people helping them in any way shape or form including and most especially our OC.

Nobody does anything by themselves. It's a team game.

Nevertheless, there's a lot riding on those two and I expect to see a return on the Rams investment.

I thought Goff did enough to win
It's technically his 6th game under center.
our defense buckled when it counted

Goff did enough to win?
46% completion percentage
90 yards
1 Touchdown
2 Interceptions

.... against the 2nd worst team in the NFL... at home...

The only good thing is in 8 days, the season will be over, most of the coaches will be escorted out of the building, and I don't have to watch this team play for 187 days. I sure hope that will be enough time for my mind and body to "detoxify" from this season. One of the worst seasons of Rams football to watch. The re-build is going to take a long time. There is too much of a losing culture with this team that can't be fixed in just one year.

Surround your investment with something that's at least moderately good and you will see an investment. Right now those two get almost no help and certainly none from the OC. People calling these two and others garbage or busts or garbage are just comedy. I'm as pissed off as the next guy but those claims are just childish.

Want a complete tear up of this. Scouting department and FO. The roster has regressed and it deplete of talent except for a few positions on the defense. They had so much luck to get the number of high draft picks they've had over the years and they've been squandered. Now we traded away the farm for Goff who looks terribad - he could become a really good one but he might not. The Rams will not be much better next year.

So sick of this crap, I done!!!
He will be "escorted" out o the building come January 2nd, along with Boras. Some coaches will be asked to stay to keep in contact with players, etc., but their time as Rams coaches is counting down. Fossel and Waufle would be the only two guys I'd consider keeping. The rest can go.

Right now I have to agree.. this was the perfect year to make a run and get into the playoffs look at the division the Seahawks might win it with only 9 wins. They have to do something drastic because fan level is at an all time low

I just saw the game-ending interception. Yea, I agree. Sit Goff next week. Play Mannion. I am still of the opinion that snaps are important, but there's no reason to ask Goff go out there with players who aren't playing. Quick, I will actively root against you for the rest of your career. This team wasted 5 years on you. They tried to develop you. They passed on very talented players for you. They gave you another chance after your first 4 years were a dud. And you respond with that. I hope you remain a failure. And when you look back in a decade and think "what if," you'll recognize that maybe you could have been something if you gave a fucking shit.

I am so much more embarrassed than I was when I saw we lost. This team's response to adversity shows what a soft entitled group Fisher developed. I have to stop. I will break a whole lot of rules if I don't.

Goff played poorly today. That was a disappointment. But I believe in him. That's more than I can say for a lot of guys on this team. As far as I'm concerned, this team showed its true character today...better described as lack thereof. Get rid of as many of these lazy malcontents as possible.

If I didn't know better I'd say Williams tanked this game on purpose.

with 10 minutes left in he 4th
That's on the "vaunted" self proclaimed "mob squad"
This loss is on the Defense 100%
Not a rookie who desite a shitty 6th start hung 21 points on the enemy - Goff did enough to win

Merry X-mas everyone. Nice come back by the 9ers.
It's not like this loss was Vinatieri or 'Steve Smith to the House' bad........
Kind of Comfortably numb to this shit show of a season.

But,
The horns will be good again someday. And I will teach my boys the joy of watching Rams football.
Or they'll suck forever and I won't.get that chance.

There are bigger problems in the world than that.
So PEACE!
I'm gonna have a drink.

11-24 for 90 yards 1 TD 2 INT. I would agree the play around Goff needs to get better, but that's brutal. It's also against a horrible defense. Goff has a long ways to go.

Right now.....
Rams are the worst team in the NFL.

Edit:
And you know I'm pissed but this is not a surprise.
As a matter of fact I picked the 49ers on my pick em card.
Because I had faith that as bad as the 49ers are, the Rams are horrible and would 'find' a way to lose. That's what horrible teams do, they 'find' ways to lose.

To be fair, the offense ought to be sustaining drives whether they score or not. I'm sure the defense is already getting tired bailing out the offense too, we need an offense that can complement our defense into pulling off good pass rush.

Agree. I don't know if the receivers are really any good though. Granted it's hard to judge with the QB play (which has been adversely affected by the line play), but none of them "pop" on the screen. Just kinda average guys out there doing average things for the most part. I mean, this is twice this season that Jeremy Kerley, of all people, has more receiving yards in the game than all of our wide receivers combined.
