And if you read my point, I was saying that Simpson is going to be worse than Goff and maybe comparable to Purdy.
And I reiterate - I want someone better than Purdy.
Purdy without a great team is just a so so QB.

Disagree entirely with not going to #2 for a full-time corner, considering that receivers can and have gone to #2 overall. If Hunter's an elite cornerback who can shut down a top receiver, who gives a shit where you pick him and what you paid for him?
Yeah, but we all know the idiot Jaguars traded up for Hunter because of the gadget-y 2-way thing, that we all knew WASN'T gonna work. He might turn out to be a good Corner but this was a bad trade IMHO. Jags gon' Jag.....
OMG - I am only giving Purdy as an example of a game manager QB with a great team who went to the superbowl.

Dilfer was another game manager QB who went to the superbowl with a great team.
Once the great team was gone - Dilfer was just a so so QB.
