If McVay had Bradford and S Jackson as rookies he could have done a lot with them. Watching the plays back then was painful.
Worked for MoAlie-Cox. TE signed as an UDFA with Colts in 2017. Played college basketball at VCU. Despite not having played football since he was a freshman in high school.
I won't side eye him for letting TuTu walk. McVay has a vision for the offense and evolved it in a certain way, and TuTu just was not a good fit. If I'm going to side eye McVay for anything, it's drafting him in the first place and resigning him last year. While TuTu might be a decent fit with some teams that don't require their WR's to block or be physical, that has never been McVay's MO with the Rams.
Drafting is one thing (even thing I was hard core against it) but resigning was a WTF moment.
Tutu just was not fit for this offense.
For every Mo Alie-Cox and Antonio Gates, there are at least a few Fendi Onobuns. Think we all know how that turned out.
