I'm still hoping for Jamel Dean but don't expect it.

It does seem I'm higher on Forbes than you are. There are much worse problems than the guy who tied for 2nd in passes defensed. He does need to get more consistent and continue to fill out his body, but I think he's still developing.

If we're talking upgrades, I'd like to upgrade Speights and find a better early down option than Fiske. But at this moment I'm doubting all the dream scenarios happen.
Forbes got all his big plays early. Then completely disappeared the last half of the season. He didn't get better, he got worse. They need to continue to upgrade CB big time. Your not wrong on LB though.

I can definitely see that side of the argument but Mevis is far from a guaranteed sure thing over the next 3 years like Aubrey is. Remember, at this time last year we were all happy having Josh Karty and figured the position was solved for the upcoming next few years. Mavis is far from a bona fide sure thing right now. Look at it this way, Aubrey can take Tutu's money.
Aubrey isn’t a sure shot. Look at Matt Gay.
Many thought the Rams should have shelled out the bucks for him and he wasn’t good in Indy.
I’ll give the Tutu money to a WR not a kicker

Matt Gay was money, but he wasn't 60-yard field goal in a Dome money. Come on now, Aubrey is in a level well above Matt Gay ever was, even though we love him.

Still not worth it. I'd rather strengthen the team with the amount Aubrey wants. Wanting to add a kicker that wants 10 mil per year is retarded as it way above the top paid kicker. Throw in that we have to give away a 2nd and I'm a fuck no.

Thats fine, and totally fair. Keep 2 things in mind though, he's not GETTING 10 Million he's ASKING 10 Million. Slight difference. He's probably getting 8 Million. One other minor detail, Brandon Aubrey on the 2025 Rams we are likely coming off a parade.

And still have to give up a 2nd. No guarantee we win anything if he's our kicker since there were other various things that went wrong last year. You're trying to simplify it way too much to make me see your point. I just don't think it's worth it honestly. That money and pick are best spent elsewhere. We have Puka, Turner, Young, then soon Fiske and Verse coming up for contracts. Sorry, a kicker takes the back seat to all of them.

Like I said, completely fair if you don't want to pay the salary and the draft pick. I totally get it. But do you recall what acquiring Adam Vinatieri did for the 2006 Indianapolis Colts?

Not trying to sound mean, but honestly don't care. If you think Vinatieri was the difference there I don't know what to tell you. But as usual no matter how ya spin it, the answer is.....

Haha, see Indy Divisional Round game AT Baltimore if you dont think he was the difference. Big improvement from Vanderjagt. In top 3 reasons for Colts winning Super Bowl.

Also, see Butker: Kansas City

That’s silly. Who cares that he can make a long one now and again. 85% FG % is not great.
