Why didn't Snead do the Crosby trade for two 1st rounders? I mean, we all know Les hates 1st round picks! Something's wrong in the front office.

They were very injured last year. I think they would've been a real threat if not.
It was stated that these moves indicate an all in for one more year. These moves can be looked at as continuing with a short-term and long-term vision in mind.
I think we are doing a great job balancing the present and the future, lots of offseason left but so far so good.

I doubt opinions change on that until years down the road. The real question is, why does that question even matter well after the fact now? It's a done deal. It's not like trades have a Costco return policy

Excellent opportunity for them to land another young WR in the draft this year. They would have a stable of good young targets for williams to throw to—on rookie deals.
I’ve been posting/saying this for years now. The Rams have become experts in maintaining a top roster by successfully churning the roster by all means necessary. FA makes this an ongoing task. Gone are the days of having a great corp for years and only having to work on the occasional departure or just beefing up the complimentary players. That formula went out with FA and the salary cap.
They could use that extra 1st for either a WR or just as big of a need maybe more so is for the OL to protect that rookie QB.
Glad we didn’t trade for Crosby at that cost. He’s still good but not sure he’ll hit his peak again after injuries and age. Want to pick a young stud at 13. Would rather resign Young or get another CB if one was available.
I would think this would work against Murry. That kid sabotaged Kingsbury's Head Coaching job.
