Montaric Brown could be another interesting FA signing. Don't know that he's a #1 but he's grown yearly. A 7th round pick to starter in a couple years

Imagine if we pull off getting a vet LB, Pitts, Evans, and a strong/fast Vet CB! Wishful thinking, I know!

I’d pass on Evans, tbh. It’s not that I don’t think he’s capable of producing still, because I do, but I just dont know what he offers that we can’t get with Puka or Adams. He’s not overly fast, and doesn’t offer much after the catch. He would certainly be great in the Redzone, but Devante does that well. If we’re getting a WR, I’d like a youth movement or someone that offers something different.

With that said…Sign me up for Pitts. He’s my #1 target in FA. He’s only 25 and is the matchup nightmare from the TE position. He’d be a great compliment to Ferguson and Parkinson.

Pitts, Parkinson and Ferguson would be a nightmare for defenses to defend, but Pitts at the right price.

And why are people assuming he’s available? Is he not gonna resign with Atlanta?

Pitts honestly scares me. I don't want to sign him because this is the first year since his rookie year that he's actually produced. Contract year, and all that.

If McVay signed off on him, sure, I'd be fine with that, but honestly, he strikes me as more a Jared Cook type. Freakish athlete, but he doesn't give a shit as a blocker or when the ball's not going to him.

I'd much rather take a chance on Romeo Doubs in free agency or Dontayvion Wicks with a trade if I'm getting a weapon from someone.

Yeah, plus the price of pass catching TEs has gone through the roof and I suspect someone’s gonna massively overpay for Pitts.

There’s just a few “What will Atlanta do to replace Pitts” type articles that I’ve seen, so I’m just assuming he will at least make it to FA.

To be fair, his rookie year he had Matt Ryan as a QB, then he had poor QB play until this year. Even watching a few ATL games this year, Penix couldn’t seem to hit him in stride on open passes. I think he would do just fine with MVP tossing him passes.

Man, I don't see a player like Kyle Pitts hitting Free Agency.

Too talented, too young and would create a huge hole on the Falcons' depth chart.
Plus, a new offensive head coach.

Also not sure Pitts is a fit with Ferguson. Skills seem too similar.
Now Parkinson and Ferguson, with Allen when the Rams want to go 13 personnel ... that makes sense.
Add a versatile depth piece for the 4th TE (protection against injury); and the Rams should be set at TE, without needing to allocate valuable assets. Maybe Mark Redman.

Supposedly this draft is deep at TE, we need an heir apparent at Y TE, I'm pretty sure it's not Fergy (but maybe) so getting a developmental Y would be great in this draft as Parkinson will be gone in a year.

Maybe, although I don't think Cook is a great comparison. Cook was a very rigid, robotic, one-speed runner with very little wiggle or agility and inconsistent hands. Pitts is a much, much more fluid athlete and natural receiver.

However I will not be banging this drum because I have seen him take plays off as a blocker which is extremely frustrating but does have the ability in that regard.

What I will say is that we don't ever see athletes of this caliber hit the open market, I don't think Atlanta has been featuring Pitts like they should have been, 13 personnel looks to be the future for this team moving forward, and I think we'll be looking to make a Davante Adams style splash for that last Stafford SB push. Call it more of a soft prediction than what I want to see happen.

I am hoping they extend Parkinson THIS off-season. Should reduce his $9M cap hit; and allow him to remain a Ram for several more years. 2026 will be his age 27 season, so 3 more years sounds good to me.

Why not just extend Parkinson? Think there's a decent chance they do that.

That's just not really true... Had only 2 drops on 118 targets last year

In the 2025 NFL regular season, Kyle Pitts was credited with 4 drops on targeted passes, according to advanced receiving statistics from Pro Football Focus (PFF)

same with 2023 and 2024.

4 drops isn't bad. For some reason I thought it was more.
