It occurs to me that the trade capital is very comparable to what the Rams gave up for McDuffie.

I consider Trent McDuffie to be a top-5 CB but I don’t view Jaylen Waddle to be a top-10 WR.
I think he's a fringe top 10 guy when healthy. That's the real issue though.

Hollywood Brown just signed to the eagles. Given the injury history of our receivers, I really hope the Rams plan to bring in a vet.

Wonder if Snead/McVay will take another look at Courtland Sutton.
Confused Good Question GIF by Choice Hotels

Jaylen Waddle to Denver for 2026 1st, 3rd and 4th picks. Late round draft choices but a nice haul for Miami.
Two things:

- What the hell did they sign Malik Willis for?
- Sure seems like WR at 11 is in play for them there where I thought we'd have our choice between Tyson and Lemon. If for some reason Tyson medicals don't look good then I think we get screwed if we're looking for a WR at 13. I don't like Sadiq at that price. Maybe a corner is there but not ideal given our FA team build. Think this has a significant affect on us.

Should we be writing a WR in pen at pick #11 now (MIA)? Not great news for us. Then again, Miami needs literally everything.
They have a ton of needs so I'd assume bpa, but they are a threat to take receiver now. Somebody has to drop though.

I think they informed Willis that year one is just about getting the system down. They have an absurd amount of dead money this year but they have a ton of cap next year.

They basically only have him for two years, gutted the roster, and one would think they need to evaluate Willis to see if he's the future.

Can't do that next year, hard to do it the following year with all the rebuilding. Just can't evaluate a guy without players around him for him to play with.

Don't get the strategy at all and honestly wonder what Willis's team was thinking as this had to be at least partially on their radar.

I think that is more like FOUR Things.

I can see a world where 2026 is about getting this system down and adding foundation to the offense through the draft and then 2027 is about building on it. If they like what the see in 27 he probably gets tagged or an extension.

That is a lot of capital. Waddle has underwhelmed me the last 2 seasons. He's had some games, but overall. I would decidedly not have been happy if we traded all of that for him.

Does this make Tutu their #1?
Tutu #1! Poor Malik Willis, he doesn't have a fucking chance there for at least 2 years. Miami is in full rebuild and 11 picks in this draft is still not enough.
