I had that kid as a sleeper option early on, because honestly, he's a lot like Whittington. Best run blocking receiver in this class, gets lots of YAC. I don't think he's worth spending a third on, though, not with better options available.
He didn't really mention anybody's name or position; he left it totally wide open. There are a lot of guys at different positions that can help us there. He could go quite a few ways. depends on how the draft plays out. Hopefully a great player is sitting there when it's our turn to pick or someone else wants a player really bad and wants to move up a few spots.
I think Downs eventually plays the "Star" role and Lake goes back to safety. Then you figure out S between Curl, Lake, and Kinchens.
The 3rd corner is likely to be Lake as the slot/star just like last year.
Mu understanding is that the rams run a lot of dime defense, which is 6 defensive backs. So currently it's Mcduffie, Johnson, Lake, Kinchens, Curl and (?) . Is it Forbes currently?
Teams already knew he was a great athlete, if he's fully healthy could go higher than expected.
I'd say it's Forbes currently. Last year, the 3rd CB and 4th safety McCollough got a lot of snaps. They played a lot of safties in dime.

It's been McCullough as the dime backer all last year and probably Forbes at boundary and McDuffie at the other slot position.
I forget about him. The rams secondary really was a hodgepodge of characters.
