If I was guessing today what the Rams will do, I think Fano would be top 3. I think he can play OT though. I would not love it, but, it would make a fair amount of sense. Branch is a 0% chance. They had Tutu and didn't use him. Why would they try the failed experiment again? Answer, they won't.
I don't think it would be Branch either, but it wouldn't shock me.

Branch isn't Tutu. He's just as fast, but not as straight line as a runner. Branch actually has some wiggle and can make defenders miss. He's also bigger and stronger and returns punts. He'd be Xavier Smith's replacement and a strong fit for some of what Kingsbury runs.

Los Angeles Rams

Round 1: No. 13 overall: Spencer Fano, OT, Utah

Round 2: No. 61 overall: Zachariah Branch, WR, Georgia

I’ve had some pushback on my "Fano at 13" suggestion, and I get why, to a certain degree. The Rams don’t need to sacrifice everything to come out with a right tackle, and there has been a lot of receiver buzz there lately. But Fano is a quality athlete and blocker who some teams believe can play all five positions -- and the Rams are thin up front. Branch could be a dynamic option if he’s there, especially with Los Angeles losing Tutu Atwell in free agency and lacking big-play options lower on the depth chart.

IMO, the ideal picks would be:

Round 1: No. 13 overall: Omar Cooper, WR, Indiana

Round 2: No. 61 overall: Derrick Moore, EDGE, Michigan

Just not sure Moore makes it to that second pick.

Agree, he is 1" and 10lbs bigger, so that is something. I think McVay's biggest issue with Atwell is not having the size to effectively block NFL players. So if he is in the game, its somewhat of a tell. Not sure if Branch if much of a blocker, but, I'll admit, he does have slightly better NFL traits. I just can't see McVay going back to something that similar when there is likely more ideal NFL build WR's on the board still.

On the same token, I thought Atwell was extremely effective on deep routes, but McVay went away from that almost completely. Atwell was criminally underused in 2025.
