I'm with you on this. How would you upgrade the DL?
A NT that can generate pressure on 3rd down. Another big bodied DE that can generate pressure well. More OLB rush depth. None stop switching players out keeping everyone fresh.

I might be in the minority but I want to upgrade the D line more than anything. Im fine with adding another wr and o-line depth but what i want most is pressure on the qb and stopping the run. We didn't lose games last year due to the offense, was the defense, and ST ofc. Glad we got some new top end corners but I want an elite killer defense, and that starts up front.
I am not in the more than anything camp but 100 want a front 7 upgrade or additional piece that can pressure the QB.

NT & ILB and this team probably wins the Super Bowl this year.

I'd like to have Love and give the old man a strong run game threat in the backfield. But I think I'd rather give him another weapon in the pass game because McVay's offense moves the chains in the air.
Hard to argue with this logic. I might add Edge with LB and move NT back but just a bit because the big uglies can be had later in the draft. And the Rams can draft another WR at 99 or move up somehow. But the one thing I am sure about is that McSnead will shock us all on draft day.

Not a good comparison. If I want Achane I've already got Kyren Williams who is close enough to him. Love is in a different stratosphere. Also, I get 4 cheap years of Love, Achane has 1 cheap year left, IF that.
The biggest knock on Williams is lack of breakaway speed, Achane may be the fastest RB1 in the NFL. A legit threat to house it every time he touches it, just sayin.

I don't believe the Rams can wait until pick 66 to get a WR. Many teams need them and I don't think Snead or McVay are the type to pick whoever falls to them because many will be gone by then. And the Rams definitely need a third WR. Not only for this year buy for the next few years as well. I would not mind them taking a tackle with their second pick, or a guard, LB, or defensive line. I have great confidence in Snead and Mcvay and I know you guys do too. The line is set though, so I can't see them drafting on O-lineman until later in the draft and developing them... just like they have done with so many others.
If our recievers get injured we still got 13 personnel. I don't believe any position is a have to.

how great would it be if the Rams could draft this kid
That would be great, but, I'd say there is less then 5% chance he gets to 13. Bengals and Cowpokes are desperate for a CB. Delane would probably be BPA if he were to fall. Though, I do like Forbes at CB3. Think we'd be equal to the eagles as league best if we managed to get Delane.

yeah chances of him being there at 13 are very small but hopefully we get some surprises in picks 2-12 that might push him down
