Not sure about Tyson, but Cooper and Tate are said to be very good blockers.

I know Ponds has good game tape and personally I don't care. I have ptsd from midget corners. Hard pass from me.
I like Ponds well enough. He's very sound. But yeah I prefer some other options.

Yeah after today I am all in on offense in the draft for the most part. Obviously not with every pick but we have a defense now that should be able to hold its own with no glaring holes so I'm all for making sure this offense can put up 30 points a game. Trade up for Love if possible or get the best offensive weapon we can at #13. Use the rest of the draft to build the depth.
Ilb is still a glaring need.
I want WR3 first (if possible trade down), then ILB, then depth at DT, CB (always need as many CBs as possible), OL, and speedy return guy.

I don't love paying a premium for any guy in this draft not named Mendoza but If I'm trading up, I'm probably doing it for Love.
They'll probably do it for Tate. I won't like it but he'll be a very good player.
Also, we have to get some ST help this draft. We've got to keep some late round picks for that.

I wouldn't say it's glaring but I wouldn't be opposed to upgrades there at some point just not at #13.
2nd or 3rd round is okay unless it's Styles at 13
Our ability to cover TE abd RB coming out of the backfield is a glaring weakness.

My guess is having two dependable corners helps allocate resources elsewhere. I remember reading somewhere that our defense was heavily dependant on safeties protecting the corners.
With our CB situation apparently taken care of, I wouldn’t be surprised if we go hard after Love. It seems to be a pretty deep WR draft and a RB like Love could really make for a ridiculous offense.
IMO teams ahead of us like NO, KC know Love isn’t going to be there. They’re reacting via FA.
I feel like it’s still going to require a hefty trade up to get in front of Love’s ultimate draft slot.
Arizona at #3 needs a ton. Just signed a RB. Could still draft Love. Probably would rather trade down and gather picks. It’s a division rival but it’s also LaFluer.

Arizona taking him would be insane. They have Conner, Allgeier, and Benson who they just drafted fairly high. I seriously cannot imagine them thinking they are RB away.
TEN is the most dangerous team picking in front of us in regards to taking Love. Though they are still weak in several areas, they have tried to address several today.
