Adams has been floated as a trade candidate in rumors, and we will need to replace him eventually; his contract runs out this year, and we have too many players to re-sign aside from him.

And no offense meant to Mumpfield or Whittington or any of the three UDFAs last year...but none of them are Davante Adams.
I agree, but we just paid him a roster bonus i think? Wonder if they have conceded that Adams will be on the roster.

Not to rain on the parade but maybe the rams are serious about wanting to get to more 13 personnel. They might not be interested in a legit 3rd receiver.
Just a risky proposition. If Puka or Davante go down, we’ll be forced into 13 personnel and the whole league will know it.

Praying it's not Pickens. He's everything that our receivers aren't; he refuses to block for his teammates, he's a mercurial, tantrum-throwing diva, and while he's extremely talented, he wore his welcome out in Pittsburgh and now Dallas doesn't want him.
The rumor I've heard is still BTJ for next year's second when this all wraps up. Only a rumor, but it's what I've heard.

That, they did. That hasn't stopped the Rams from moving big contracts (Gurley, Goff). It makes it unlikely that an Adams trade is in the works.

And yes, @Ramhusker makes a good point: if Adams or Nacua aren't available for any length of time, it makes us much more one-dimensional. Part of the Rams' offensive charm is that they can go between 11/12/13 personnel without skipping a beat.

Where’d you see that?

For me this was a draft I genuinely just didn’t understand. I get the concept but don’t agree with it.

Hope I’m proven wrong. The reality is, no one will give a shit whether this draft worked out or not if we win the SB. But I think a lot of people will question this one, rightfully so, if it turns out WR, LB, etc. are the reasons we fall short.

Time will tell.

Honestly just a couple of separate youtubers. I don't mean to pass it on as insider info ... just have heard the rumor more than once, and it might make sense in the context of the overall draft plans we are seeing take place.

Also, the fuck is with the Dallas pick and why is it taking so long? Like, there's only three minutes to make a selection, and they've had the pick in almost seven minutes.

EDIT: Never mind, they announced it.

I knew it. As soon as I saw that video feed of the Saints' war room celebrating, I figured they would draft the guy I want. Seriously, the Saints are drafting the prospects I envisioned for the Rams. I said before that I anticipated that the Rams would draft at least 2 receiving prospects and up to 3 not counting special teams. I ish you not I literally had Tyson, Delp & Lance as an ideal scenario for the Rams. The Saints draft so far could even pass for a Snead draft given 2 selections from Georgia (DT Christen Miller & Delp) and 1 from Auburn (G Jeremiah Wright).

Now Kyle Louis goes to Pittsburgh.
