I've kinda already accepted that we're going to draft Branch; it would just be par for the course for Snead to draft speedy, yet underwhelming receivers in the first/second rounds.
Honestly, I've come to like Branch more then I expected. He wasn't asked to run many routes, but did run some at USC. He certainly isn't my top pick and I really like Deion Burks if we aren't taking a big guy. Now that is a freak.

USC used him as a freshman on punt returns and routes that utilized his speed, mostly. I don't like his Georgia tape; he didn't show out how he should've on that team with the amount of YAC and touchdowns compared to his receptions and being the number one target on that team. Add in his size to all that, and I don't see someone who is going to make more of a difference in the NFL than Tutu.

My dream guys today:
Ponds
Rodriguez
Boston
Bernard
C.Miller
K.Scott
Stowers
McCoy
T.Stukes
EMW

Would be quite happy with:
Sarratt
C.Bell
Burks
TJ Parker
R.M. Thomas
Z.Young
McDonald
Hill Jr
Golday
K.Louis
Hood
Muhammad
Howell
Jacas

I prepared myself a while ago for Simpson and even talked myself into kind of liking it with the opportunity cost to get a dart throw for a top talent at QB.

Branch on the other hand... I would absolutely lose my shit with what we just went through with Tutu...
Mind you, I'd be fine with Burks when it comes to smaller receivers in the second or third (elite route runner and athleticism for his size, real jitterbug, would excel in the slot).

A small part of me thought that, yeah, we could very well draft Simpson. I've just started the copium with Simpson, and I'm in wait-and-see mode until he gets into a game.

Branch, I've kind of accepted that we're going to take him, sad to say. I would scream (like I was being murdered and must break windows for me to be saved, but inwardly). Unfortunately, I've somewhat come to accept that this draft is the official "Piss off, you fucking bitch, Memento; you're fucking wrong, and you're a fucking idiot for thinking you're right" draft, and thus, them taking Branch would not surprise me.

He seriously gives me Kupp vibes. I'm dead serious. Similar type of receiver. Extremely solid hands and size, redzone weapon, sneaky good athleticism, productive.

I am very high on Sarratt. Then again, I'm high on a lot of the 2025 Hoosiers team (Cooper's going to be good with the Jets, Sarratt needs no mention, I like Mendoza's chances with the Raiders, Ponds is my favorite player in this class period, Kamara could be a steal for someone late, Coogan is someone I'd love to take in the sixth round if he's there, Louis Moore is an underrated safety, Fisher is a good linebacker option, etc.) Just a very good team that I'm not surprised won it all.
I don't know if I see the playing style comparison tbh but I will say Sarratt falling to 61 would give me the same feeling as when Kupp fell to 69. Like am I missing something here or did the rest of the league just really mess this up?

Whiners taking McCoy here would piss me off. Or Boston. Or anyone, fuck them and horse they rode in on.

I don't see a playing style comparison, but as far as traits and strengths? Absolutely, I see it, and him falling to #61 would give me the exact same vibes.
