I mean, I assume we're trading Parkinson. I have to assume that he has value among the league?

I'm sorry, this is a hard spin. Again, I really like the player, and he fits the area, but we didn't need a fourth tight end in the second round.
Trade Parkinson? That's a terrible idea. We're a 2 or 3 TE team now Higbee retires in camp and they trade Allen.

Am I crazy or would a decent dual threat linebacker have been a better choice?
Many positions would have been better IMO; OT of any kind, WR, Edge, LB... the list goes on. TE would have been near the bottom of the list.

You can sign TE's in FA a lot easier then most of the stated positions

Yup good TE

Can kiss Allen good bye
Hope not, maybe Higz is gone and Allen & Park can be signed until Ferg & butter fingers get up to speed.
We have a solid room, adding a TE makes sense but didn't expect it here.
The Rams seem to hate players with speed, body control and ball skills

I get that they are looking ahead at the position losing guys blah blah

First impression…This guy doesn’t look special in any way. He’ll fit right in.
Poor Mojo, it's the anti draft for you

Higbee isn't close to retiring yet. He signed a two year deal with us.

Allen is not going to get nearly enough in a trade to justify dealing him.

Ferguson and Klare are going to need reps, too.

I'm sorry, Parkinson is the easiest to trade with all of those tight ends.

I'm not sure why everyone is complaining now - by all accounts we got good value.
Anyone expecting us to use a premium pick on a rookie to rely on this year doesn't know this regime very well.
If they want to add some speedy playmaker to the offense or some key addition to defense or STs, they will do it with veterans.
Klare looks like a pick where value and need converged.

I guess it's possible. It seems more likely that just ride with their TE group and let him leave via FA. This draft is filled with one dimensional TEs, but Klare looks more balanced than most.

Not to mention that we already have four pro level tight ends already on the roster and a backup to them.
What are we going to do with six tight ends?
I mean I love the 13 personnel package but you can't run it all game. Can you?

Maybe mcsnead thinks we have so many needs that they're just going BPA.

The 2025 Ram offence running with 2 or 3 TE's on a majority of downs when Adams went down was very strong and effective. I have no issues with it continuing in 2026 either.

It would also seem that the Rams think they have a few lucky charms in their unknown WR cadre.

Higbee signed a 1 year deal he's a hell of a lot closer than you think.

It doesn't matter what Allen gets back.

Parkinson is the healthiest and the best blocker he's not going anywhere. You get rid of him when Higbee gets hurt again or actually retires you have a bunch of pass catching TE's who are mediocre blockers at best.
