I’m betting on one of the LBs.
I think a number of these guys hang around just due to the light drafts of late.

A LB replaces Reeder

Edge replaces Hampton/Keir Thomas spot

RB Hoover replaces Rivers

CB replaces Kendrick/ Witherspoon spot

One of the OL sticks

Several will comprise the PS.

I wonder if Vilari or Rohan Jones really show out well, if the Rams could trade Davis Allen?

Maybe Gladstone would be interested. They did draft a TE in the 2nd. So maybe they want to go 13 personnel as well and could use more depth there. He knows the kid.

And I don’t get why he can’t earn a place on the team. It’s not like Rivers has lit the world on fire.
True, but McVay trusts Ronnie Rivers and that trust has kept Rivers on this roster. Conners is bigger, stronger and faster, so there is obviously a chance, but I am rooting for Jordan Waters, who was an UDRFA last year and looked good in preseason, plus Waters is 6' 225lbs a bit bigger than Connors, but Connors seems to offer a bit more on special teams plus catching the football too.

Last August, I really liked Waters too ... but I have wanted a 225-lb RB on the roster for some time now.

They paid Dan Villari a hefty bonus to sign the Syracuse alum, who played Quarterback in High School and had to learn the position in college. Though the Orange's passing attack took a hit after losing Steve Angeli at QB, Villari was steady and efficient, catching 39 passes for 412 yards, while earning a strong 81.2 PFSN TE Impact score.

This is probably one of the better UDFA hauls I can remember. Quite a few possibilities to make this roster and it should make the camp window very entertaining.

And the QB2/3 battle should also offer better than usual work for the depth pass catchers through preseason.

I'm really excited for this year's camp to get rolling. Just gotta get past this OTA window.

Signing bonuses if I'm reading Sportrac correctly:

TE Dan Villari - $45,000
OT Chad Lindberg - $15,000
DL Payton Zdriok - $9,000
CB Al'Zillon Hamilton - $5,000
DL Jalen Logan-Redding - $3,500
whoa... Hill-Green was NOT given a bonus??

The one that surprises me most is Payton Zdroik.

Done some reading, and seems like an outstanding young man but 6' and 275 lbs!?!?!

That is one Teeny-Tiny NFL defensive lineman.

Well, we have had DT's that were in that 6'0 275 lb range before...one is a future HOFer.

And no, not saying this guy makes the team, let alone a future HOFer.

Let’s get into OTA’s first .

See what they look like against the Veterans. That paints at least a little picture.

Ty Simpson vs. Mattew Caldwell

lol- he did start in front on Arch Manning didn’t he ?

Zidrok is the line of a guys like Michael Hoecht and Morgan Fox. He could be s DE/big Edge conversion. He is very athletic. He is also has the high motor and character type the Rams like.

From AI search: Payton Zdroik - Air Force 6' 276 lb. Under-sized for an interior lineman, Zdroik has very good athleticism. RAS gives him a 9.26 score. At 31 1/8”, his arms are under NFL standards and he has 8 3/4” hands, Nice upper body strength, 31 reps on the bench.

A definite option for the practice squad in 2026. Zidrok sticking on the final 53 is probably a long shot unless we have injuries.

At those prices how much does it really matter. Giving a player a chance to play & make the TEAM seems to be worth more.

My question is about POO(h). Wasn’t Wallace a couple seasons ago coming off a Natty ? Plus a position of need ? Jaylen played ahead of him ,Lampkin last season had a chance. Shaun Dolac got paid how much ?

Just saying, not as big of a deal.Still not a bad offseason topic.
