I’ve never really understood how the broad jump relates to football, this coming from someone who played high school football, and learned how to sit on the bench for 1 year of college football.

Lower body explosiveness. Generating enough power to jump that far with no running start is insane.

I love Sadiq but he ovelaps with what we have on the roster. If we were to go that direction I would think we may see a trade too.

The difference is that Sadiq is actually a matchup problem, has great speed, and would probably be the best blocking TE on the roster from day one.

Man, Sadiq earned himself a LOT of money tonight. He's certainly going to be in the conversation for us and anyone looking for a receiving weapon.
 
I now see us taking Sadiq. Higbee might retire. Sadiq has that superstar look. He and McVay would change the game!

Its weird. I love drafting Linemen either side early and hate drafting DBs early. Their are plenty of corners I really like and Dillon Thieneman at safety. I would not be upset at drafting two DBs in the first this year. Sick of seeing the DBs be weakness on this team. That said I believe they go Lemon or Sadiq at 12 and best available DB at 29. Would love a stud OL either spot but doubt it happens.
