I don't think he has any reason to participat. If you have any concerns at all, there's really no incentive to work out at the combine. You'll have a pro day and you'll run all the same drills. That gives him another month of recovery. He's probably on here to show teams that his ACL is nothing to worry about medically. Why would this kid elect not to participate in the combine? Can teams have him run all the drills at his pro day... 40 times, 3-cone, etc? To me this sounds like his agent telling him he has only one way to go if he participates in the combine and that is DOWN, since he is currently the #1 CB coming out IF he is healthy and he should be since it's been over a year since his injury. And his injury doesn't scare me much as long as he checks out. If the Rams get 4-5 good years out of him... I'm ok with that. Can't count on much more than that anyway. There are very few Aaron Donald's out there, in terms of careers and contracts.

I know he has people who do not want him but there's a lot of hype around Delane at the combine. Speculation is top 10 now with him which would be disappointing.
Fortunately those teams also could use an edge and an OT or a WR. It's going to be a wild ride to 13 IMO>I will be tough for him to make it through the CB needy teams. Of the 12 teams picking before us, CB is legit a top 5 need for all of them expect perhaps the Browns.
Yeah, not much until two guys we fall in love with come off the board at 11 & 12.At the very least, that loss to the Falcons only cost us picking at the 11th or 12th pick, so not much better. Infuriating loss however.
True. Infuriating loss. But those bastards also ran off 4 straight wins to end the season. Oh what could have been. We talking pick 5 or 6 instead.Yeah, not much until two guys we fall in love with come off the board at 11 & 12.
He did say he intended to do every drill at his pro day at least. And he said he was fully prepared to play towards the end of last season.Dude should be fully healed by now. Not a big deal that he isn't going to run. But it does nothing but increase my paranoia in considering him that he's not chomping at the bit to show he's fully back.
Hope we steer clear.
He knows he has to do the pro day so sure, he's gonna need to run at some point. He did say he intended to do every drill at his pro day at least. And he said he was fully prepared to play towards the end of last season.
If teams are stupid enough to pass on him I say welcome to LALes watching Bain fall on draft night like...
