I thought they would be trading McDuffie because the GM doesn't believe much in paying CBs top money. It's not because they can't pay him.
He may not have the same belief on an edge defender.

They just created $43 million in cap space restructuring Mahomes contract and are still 4 million over. It could be both but they also do not have cap space right now.
Might have cost more than that,especially if your counting the SEAHAG game.

Well The Rams still have AD99 on there mind.They know it’s always not the measurements.
He (a DE/olb) might be the way to go in the 2026 draft.B.Young (zero) might not be worth the price to resign in 2027 & would give The Rams extra juice in the rotation.
I’ll say it early,because it’s basically obvious that Troy Reeder at the least won’t be on the 2026 roster.
BTW - a player who made The Rams did it last season without all the measurables in Shaun Dolac.
As comparison, I wonder how Earnest Jones, Landman and Reeder did in the 3 cone drill. Agility/Change In direction is what we are missing badly at LB.
Ahh..Lindsay Rhoades was my NFL host crush before Kay Adams v1.0.
Styles if more then a LB. He can and did play safety. He can and did rush the passer and I think he's being overlooked in this aspect. Why he is not considered a potential edge along with his teammate is puzzling. Outside of the Ohio St not using him there, does not mean he doesn't translate there well. He has all of the athletic traits to play all over the place. He could be our counter to Emanawori. That said, we won't sniff him at 13.

Jones was slow as fuck and that was before his knee issues resurfaced in the NFL. The dude will end up being replaced in Seattle. MacDonald will want more speed offball in his defense. Just a matter of time.

I'm hoping Lemon is off the board before we pick at 13. Strong prospect but not what this offense needs. We're good in the slot with Nacua moving into that role probably full time in 2026. If they add wideout early it needs to be a sideline catch radius type with great hands. Otherwise go defense, there are going to be defenders in that BPA conversation at 13.
