The only reason I can see for them to cut him now is to free up cap for a signing or trade. Otherwise, why cut him now?

I'm glad they got rid of his slow ass. I won't miss that nor the perfectly timed knuckle head penalty.

The knuckle head upset me more than the slow. He had talent. He just seemed to have a bad penalty at the worst times.

They already new he wasn't going to have a spot, so they gave him a chance to catch on with another team?
