Hey, hey, watch that stuff. That is not a fair comparison.
The NFL shares a lot of revenue and each team spends the same on their roster due to a hard cap.
The A’s are a small market team who simply don’t draw enough attendance. They tried to move to San Jose but the giants always blocked it, claiming it was THEIR market.

The A’s might not have a lotta $$ to throw around, but they treat their players better than what has historically been a bengal trademark.

& year to year ALWAYS better than the Angels.

Once again they have 2 players $800 million not playing & why didn’t they just trade Ohtani & Trout 2 years ago ( & others) plus cut Redon . Instead they trade to get the player who they drafted 1 pick in front of Trout while his parents were in the MLB Studio only to bring that guy back. Plus trade others only to have to release them for September call ups.
Don’t think they still finished behind the A’s (in last) making a playoff run. Then again Texas won the World Series,Houston beat out the Hag jr.’s(Seattle) .

I did see Ohtani pitch for $11 one game. Got a MVP hat another game
& a japense yogurt game.

To think in July he was still pitching. How much did the Dodgers want him ? Maybe the Yankees, plus maybe Texas (in division) doesn’t win it all ??

He's basically signed for 3 years/ 17 mill. 25/26 salary of 1 mill and the 5th year @ 15 mill. You trade for him, restructure that deal and have an incredibly Low risk/high reward situation.
He'd have to be medically cleared for any trade
I think plenty of teams expecting to draft 20-32 would give up a 1st for him, or a team like Cleveland with a very low 2nd 33-35 range.
Just like Tua, probably just one more concussion away from retirement in a violent sport known for head to head collisions. Not worth it.

Once again, after reading another So Ram post I feel the need to go to the store and buy another case of 16 ouncers to put my brain back into perspective.

Just wanted to say I just woke up and sat down to read this all and my brain viewed the above and all I could see was, "Collinsworth" and I said that dumbass...............then I started to worry that maybe I woke up too early.

He'll be worth it to some team I imagine
I do recall we traded Cooks because of concussion concerns. He turned out to play many years after (currently I think?) so perhaps its not as big of a concern as I'm led to believe. I'd still stay clear myself.

This Trey Hendrickson situation in Cincy seems like it’s close to reaching a tipping point. Man that would be a sweet addition if we were able to somehow swing it. Wonder what it would take.

Also, I’ve said all along the Rams number 1 post-Stafford target should be a disgruntled Joe Burrow. This is another log in that fire.

I think the Trey Hendrickson situation is due to the Bengals keeping Burrow happy, not the other way around. As seen above, Burrow has the highest paid WR room and he's the 2nd highest paid QB. Trey wants his now and the team is pushing back

Lucky for Burrow he has weapons. Now they need to put up 40 a game to cover for the so called defense.

Well, I think snatching Al Golden from ND is going to help out quite a bit. And while Brown may be a cheap owner he didnt mind spending extra $$ to get a legit DC. How Anarumo kept his job all these years is beyond me

What would it take to get him? I wouldn’t want to see any Rams players traded to that shit organization in return. So it would be draft picks with a potential QB need looming. Then we have the cap to deal with.

I will be surprised if it happened. He wants paid.

These allegations are from 10-15 years ago?
Why now?
SMH.

Would be nice. But then I think Penix has a chance to do the job and their defense should improve a ton in their pass rush, i.e. passers will have a tougher time so less points allowed. What we need is Penix to struggle.
So @Merlin let me try to summarize
1. You think Penix can perform
2. We need Penix to not perform.
Gotcha.

Let's see. We got big Whit from Cincy, won a Super Bowl in the '21 season
Get Hendrickson and win it this year.
Then Burrow in a couple years, cuz these things tend to happen in 3's!

I was just talking to my GF about this this morning. Joe Burrow probably is a target to snag for MCSnead, but We still have Stafford for a year or two.

Trey Hendrickson added to our stacked defense? How would we swing the CAP? Also Depends on if we re-acquire Ramsey or not.

He is a good DC for sure he just doesn't have enough to work with imo on that roster.

Yeah he’s definitely a good DC. Quite frankly their defense was what got them to the Super Bowl. No one coulda done anything with the guys that had on their defensive 2 deep last year.
