Hey, hey, watch that stuff. That is not a fair comparison.
The NFL shares a lot of revenue and each team spends the same on their roster due to a hard cap.
The A’s are a small market team who simply don’t draw enough attendance. They tried to move to San Jose but the giants always blocked it, claiming it was THEIR market.
The A’s might not have a lotta $$ to throw around, but they treat their players better than what has historically been a bengal trademark.
& year to year ALWAYS better than the Angels.
Once again they have 2 players $800 million not playing & why didn’t they just trade Ohtani & Trout 2 years ago ( & others) plus cut Redon . Instead they trade to get the player who they drafted 1 pick in front of Trout while his parents were in the MLB Studio only to bring that guy back. Plus trade others only to have to release them for September call ups.
Don’t think they still finished behind the A’s (in last) making a playoff run. Then again Texas won the World Series,Houston beat out the Hag jr.’s(Seattle) .
I did see Ohtani pitch for $11 one game. Got a MVP hat another game
& a japense yogurt game.
To think in July he was still pitching. How much did the Dodgers want him ? Maybe the Yankees, plus maybe Texas (in division) doesn’t win it all ??
