I’m interested in Dre Greenlaw or Nick Bolton for an addition to our LB group. Bolton is younger and does not have the torn Achilles injury history but Greenlaw would be a kick in the balls to a division rival. Both are stout against the run, play like they truly care and seem like smart players.

My out of the box idea for this upcoming offseason is trade a 5th rounder for Levis. He has talent and ran our system in college. Titans probably are gonna draft a QB. So add young positional talent to the room that has some experience, and he sits behind Stafford.

Per the article Donald was a “overly enthusiastic enforcer”. Can’t say he didn’t instigate any of these incidents but I’m confident in stating most were retaliatory. Poke the Bear and your gonna get bit!!

Doubtful the Rams were going to move on from Garappolo after just signing him and Snead's boy Bennett this year.

I think the discussion is about what the Rams could do for 2025, when Garoppolo and Wilson will be free agents; and the possibility that Tennessee could move Levis should they draft a quarterback in the first round. I believe Howell is under contract for 2025.

Neither am I. But it's not like Joe Montana is readily available. QB the way the Rams are going to have to address it will be a dice roll whether it's a castoff or a middling draft pick who comes with just as many questions.

For the draft I am hoping Dart and some of these equivalents don't rise too high. But teams are desperate at the position and prone to overvaluing them. The castoff market can sometimes provide equivalent or better talent for much cheaper.

I'd have given Percy Harvin the same chance back in the day if it cost us nothing and we had a good offensive mind at the time.

Living in NYC, I was able watch and follow Toney when he was a Giants' first round pick.

There were injuries, the Giants lacked talent and the coaches were constantly changing. However, Toney struck me as much more than an immature headcase or slow-learner. I got the impression early-on that this was a gifted athlete who was simply NOT interested in playing football. Certainly not in maximizing his talent.

Not necessarily a Bad Guy. Just a guy that would take the money but much rather be doing something else.

Just one example. In his rookie season, he would often do interviews with the local sports media. Toney expressed his wish that he be referred to as Yung Joka ... his stage name as Toney was an aspiring rapper.

Brian Daboll moved-on from Toney almost immediately. Andy Reid (and Patrick Mahomes) could not get much out of his tremendous talent; and neither could Kevin Stefanski. That's three quality (diverse) offensive minds.

Kadarius Toney is a Big Stay Away for me.

That is an issue and part of what I alluded to with him being a headcase. But it costs us nothing to try. If he's not working, cut him.

I'd consider it. But a 5th is more than I'd pay.

Toney is a very different player from the three guys you listed. More akin to Tavon Austin than any of them. But Tavon was much smaller.

Agree but I wasn't going for a comparable skill-set.

My focus was on major physical talent and a relatively high pick but a complete and total waste of that talent.

Percy Harvin and Tavon Austin offered similar skill sets; and neither Harvin or Austin reached their potential but both were significantly more productive in their careers. Harvin and Austin were stars compared to Toney.

In their first four seasons,
Harvin had 280 receptions / 3,300 receiving yards / 600 rushing yards / 24 TDs
Austin had 180 receptions / 1,600 receiving yards / 975 rushing yards / 20 TDs
Toney has put-up 82 receptions / 760 receiving yards / 115 rushing yards / 4 TDs
Absolutely No Comparison from a production point of view.

Like Titus Young (mental health), Justin Blackmon (drugs) and Kevin White (injuries), Toney is a huge talent but, through four years has been a complete waste of that talent.

Levis is under contract for 2 more years at a real cheap number. No reason for Tenn to trade him for peanuts
