I sure hope this info from DraftBuzz.com is incorrect. If his 40 time is correct, he's not going to able to catch anyone in the NFL

Square potentially can be that kind of ILB the Rams need to play with Jones. That said he's definitely a work in progress, but he offers STs value with his speed. With his work ethic and good coaching he could develop into a decent player. At the very least he could make the PS this year. Character and work ethic are important to the Rams.

Nick Scott came in raw as hell but worked hard and became a very good FS. If not with the Rams, Square could make it onto a roster somewhere. Michael Hoecht was a raw but talented UDFA and is an example of what drive, work ethic and talent can do.
You can say that about a lot of Rams under Les Snead.

Hoecht has a long way to go to be as good Cory Littleton as just a example.

PRINCETON – Matthew Jester has signed a free agent contract with the Los Angeles Rams following the NFL Draft.

"This has been a fantastic weekend for Princeton Football and Matthew's signing only adds to it," said Charles W. Caldwell Jr. '25 Head Coach of Football Bob Surace. "Matthew has worked so hard, and his Pro Day numbers reflect that. I can't wait to see what he does with the Rams!"

Jester was first-team All-Ivy in 2022 after leading Princeton in both tackles for loss (six) and sacks (three). He had sacks in Ivy League wins over Brown, Harvard and Dartmouth. The senior captain even got on the scoreboard this season, intercepting a conversion pass against Cornell and returning it for two points.

SO, we had 44 on roster, drafted 14, picked up 20 to date. By what date do we need to pick up 12 more bodies?
I heard McVay say that they don't need the maximum number of players. I imagine we will sign a few more and that's it.
