In the 4th round, there is always a possible diamond in the rough
Stetson is not a diamond in the rough
Backup at best that I reiterate that if he sees the field more than a couple games - well it is a throw away season then
You can get that in late fifth 6th round and 4th round was way too early for that type of a player

Wolford looked overwhelmed when he played. Hard worker but, didn't perform in the games.
Bennett may have a similar size as Woldford yet could be a big improvement. He has big game experience and has some quick feet. He seems to go through his progressions. The NFL shouldn't be too BIG for him. He could quickly pick up the offense. The Georgia connection with Stafford is interesting. He may not be the future starter but, could be a solid backup.

I forgot we had so many NFL front office people and scouts on this board. I am not a fan of the player but this draft just like every draft proves these comments about when a player will and won't get drafted are complete nonsense. We fans don't know a damned thing about it. How many here "knew" Gibbs would be there for our pick at 36? People were worried Adebawore would be gone before we picked at 36. Lets not forget a certain TE named Washington.
We all know it.
The draft has been great, they’ve done an amazing job. But they screwed the pooch on this one.
Default to just “they know better than us” commentary is just nonsense.

It really irritates me when I see a new round pop up on the tracker and we're on the bottom third of it. I realize it's just a snapshot of a given pick range but I find it quite annoying.

There can be a diamond in the rough with any one of our next eight picks. I seriously doubt he was drafted to start. We needed a quality backup. His production shows he is quality

We do currently have a often injured starter, so yeah, I'd bank on him likely starting a game or 2 unfortunately. I'm fine with this pick. There is not another QB in this draft that has played well in such big pressure games period. Zero chance Wolford would have produced as well as Bennett.

Again, I’m not pissed that they took the qb i didnt want, I wouldn’t have wanted any available qb with that pick

No I don't. I have no clue. DTR just went after Bennett. He was consistently a 6th-7th round projection.

I don't know what the NFL teams know. I saw some names still there when the 4th started that were projected to go in the second or third round. I suppose the draft prospect scoring system doesn't tell the whole story.
The Patriots drafted a center that is projected to be nothing more than a backup at center while there was another center rated much higher still there. Luke Wypler. And he's still available. Are there red flags on this guy or something? He's coming out as a sophomore. Do teams think he's too young?
