I haven't followed college ball that much, so I'll reserve judgment on Bennett. That being said, he did play QB for two consecutive national championships, which means he's got some big game experience. And was a Heisman contender last season, meaning he was a big part of at least this second national championship. Also, there is no doubt this pick wouldn't have been made without McVay's blessing, so he obviously sees something. If nothing else, he will be a definite upgrade at backup QB. There's no way he's not better than Wolford or Perkins.
