Right there -- a lack of clear thinking.... to get the the hell out of Seattle???
" The former first-rounder turned down more money elsewhere ..."
Agreed. I think he's full of shit. Nobody is interested in chasing a mediocre RB in FA this year. He went back to the team that has no QB for less money riiiiiight.

People believe anything nowadays. :laugh4:

Chargers are making some moves. Glad the Panthers got Littleton, not us.

We've been fairly quiet regarding adding new talent. Very odd.

The #Chargers give Gerald Everett a 2 year, $12M deal worth up to $13.5M max, the source said. $8M fully guaranteed.

The offensive weapons are adding up for Herbert. Eakler, Allen, Williams and now Everett. Defense getting better too.

The Renters are still 2nd best in LA….. Thank God the Rams won a Super Bowl before them.

I believe it just shows us, once again, that fans are far more anxious than the team. Free Agency is only 4 days old, why overpay for players whose agents are currently holding out for top dollar when in a few more weeks as we get closer to the April 28-30 draft, they'll be getting more flexible in their negotiations. No doubt the Rams have put out 'feelers' for preferred players, so agents and players know which teams are showing interest, but I suspect if a few players we Rams fans like are plucked up by other teams, then Pastoors/Demoff felt they were either asking more than their worth or just not a good fit.

out of our 2 former TE's, I'd rather keep cook and use the money elswhere, like for wagner. Not a good move in my opinion.

The Rams may have one bigger splash in free agency. Recently they had bigger trade splashes to improve the team. Still can do more rounding out smaller moves.

If no trades to be had right now I'd love ZaDarius Smith and Gilmore.

Resign Obj

I'd be happy

Fit in Bobby Wagner and I'd say I'm dreaming but on the whole that should be a better defense than last year.

Quite true and IMO, very accurate. We had 1 known target and that was Von Miller. He signs in Buffalo and they grab Robinson. None of us saw that coming. We can be sure there will be more we didn't see coming. It's just that they are shrewd and not a desperate team. You can be sure there are a number of NFL free agents who would take a lower offer to play for the Rams. That doesn't mean they're not going to try. And they should try. But we will end up with more quality help before the draft.

They signed nobody in FA last yr, other than re-signing Floyd. So not much different and in fact they did add one big outside addition this yr.

I was just wondering if the Rams are planning to at least entertain signing a good edge to replace Von? I've seen no news about the Rams talking with Dante Fowler or anyone else. I don't think the Rams are looking at the draft to replace Von.

Fowler was signed by Dallas.

D'oh! If you carefully re-watch the NFCCG and Super Bowl, Von Miller and Weddle made seriously important plays that helped us win. Of course McVay might be confident in the youngers players waiting in the wings which is ok with me.

Maybe McVay should tell Whit and Weddle to stay in shape "just in case" in time for the playoffs.

I'm guessing that if McSnead has targeted a vet Edge or CB, he'll make a play for them unless their demands appear unreasonable. There are weeks remaining to this first free agency period, and while we sit here anxiously awaiting the next move, we should also trust that they'll do our team right.
