That should bring us under the cap for the accounting purposes (which needed to be done by 4 pm EST today).

I suspect we will start hearing about additional moves as soon as we clear that deadline.

Well Whit & Floyd clears $28M... Then Hekker another 2M. Considering they were about 21-22M over, they now can likely add the Noteboom, Shelton & Allen deals. They will need more restructuring to add Miller and anyone else

Maybe that's the hold up with Miller. They need to finalize a Stafford or Donald extension to add him.

Maybe Von can be happy anywhere, but I bet that if he was in Cleveland next fall he’d be feeling like he made a mistake.

I concur and the culture in Dallas IMO under McCarthy is toxic, might improve next season when they hire Asshole Face, but why go through that? Cleveland might be on the upswing if they add Watson, but again, you'll get more endorsements in Los Angeles, right now IMO, Miller cannot see the forest for the trees.

Good for him, I liked Williams but the potential for Rochelle is too great to leave him on the bench going forward. Plus, Williams is already 29 having languished in practice squad purgatory for three or four years before earning a spot on our gameday roster. So a long term contract didn't seem prudent to me. Helps with our comp pick equation, all though bummer he didn't take the highest offer lol.

Trade Higbee? Yikes.
Well, there is a guy out there I could see the Rams taking a flyer on. Stafford's old buddy Eric Ebron is a FA and has tweeted that his knee is fully back. Wouldnt be a replacement for Higbee, as he's not the best blocker, but he and Staff have some history, so who knows.
Maxx Williams is another guy worth looking at, he can run block with the best of them
Detroit fans would be going yikes - the Rams now have both Donald and Ebron - sheesh

I don’t see any issues with Von’s actions. Many of us have applied to multiple jobs n then asked companies to compete and match the other’s offers.

Plus, I don’t think ppl should expect all players to follow what Brady has done. His situation is totally different. QBs have longer careers with more off the field earning opportunities, his spouse is worth more than him, the list can go on.

Should be a nice comp pick for DWill
Well, Corbett got 29.5 over 3 yrs. This is being reported as 30 over 3 yrs. Thus likely another 5th rounder, unless they count some of that potential higher amount. Not sure how that works.

So at least thus far two 5ths and a 6th next year for Corbett, Williams, & Day.

Yeah, OTC is now showing two 5ths & a 6th for 23' comp picks.

If I was looking at this optimistically ......This Darious Williams contract has a chance to total up over $13 million a year, which should move it him out of the 5th rd range into the 4th rd Comp award zone.

When Von Miller signs elsewhere the Rams will get another 5th comp award to go with the 5th from Austin Corbett & the 6th from Sebastian Joseph-Day.

If our DC Morris is hired to HC after this season concludes then the Rams would get another 3rd rder for him.

Possibility of another 5 comp selection awards in 2023.
#3rd {Morris)
#4th {Williams}
#5th {Miller}
#5th {Corbett}
#6th {SJ-D}

The Rams currently their own following FIVE 2023 draft selections:
#2nd
#3rd
#5th
#6th
#7th
