The Eagles have the first-round draft picks to get Wilson. Some reports are that Jalen Hurts may not be in their plans and would go in the trade. NFC East looks wide-open next year and the rest of the division has lots of question marks. They should do it. They could trade two first-rounders and Hurts as a great starting offer.

The Wentz rumors, if true, insinuates that they are going to target another QB. Wasn't a bad shot to give him a try with the coach who loves him. In fact I still expect they let him have year 2 with Reich. But if they're moving on that fast it shows they realize they have a great team outside of QB.

Seems to me this might in part be the Rams' success influencing other teams to be more aggressive. Which would be a surprise with Indy given the way Ballard has been surgical with his picks thus far.

Von Miller to explore free agency.

WE gave a lot for him, hopefully he sticks around.

Best option - Miller sticks around
Second best option - Someone pays way too much for him, and the Rams get a decent comp pick
This is likely his greedy agent begging him not to take a sweet heart deal from the Rams.

I would bet AD’s agent likely spread the retirement rumor too. I couldn’t see AD pulling a Dickerson move when the Rams have no cap space.

Because of Miller's age/experience, I believe the comp-pick can be no higher than a 5th rounder.
I kind of remember that from when the deal was made. We're talking about an NFL compensation rule right? Not just the fact that he's older and unlikely to get a big contract.

Edit: Looks like @OldSchool answered.

The rule is vets who have 10 or more years of experience only return a 5th round comp pick. This was Von's 10th year.
