Corbett is unlikely to return due to their depth favoring replacement. They have OL in the pipeline. Rams will applaud him getting a big contract and collect the round 3 comp.

With SJD, there is no reason to retain him at FA cost when his replacement on the depth chart upgraded us.

Some of these are pretty clear tbh in that they will be business decisions.

Whit is what muddies the water. OT as a duo has multiple possible paths and it all starts with Whit and whether they think he has more in the tank. Also Boom will cost. We aren't gonna get him cheap if he hits that market. So if you lock him up and he is mediocre at LT you are effed.

What is funny - he is a back-up tackle who has rarely played and the way the market is, we could possibly get a 3rd round comp pick if we let him walk

I think we need to keep Boom. A solid back up swing tackle who is likely expected to start at LT next year? Where do you suppose we would find a starting LT once Whit leaves next season if we don't have one in house? Sure dont have cap to sign anyone great.

If we do not keep Boom you have to hope that Whit comes back and stay's healthy. And the following year we'll have to see what free agent or trade target LT there are available. Granted a 2023 2nd round pick is possible or trade up but yeah 2023 will be a big need at LT if we don't keep Boom.
