I do think they are looking at guys that they think won't be there.

Meinerz had a 2nd round grade, but if you look at the players taken, almost all of them come from big name schools.

Buffalo, Northern Iowa and NDSU are the smallest schools players have been taken from.

I really think we're gonna clean up on day 3 with small school gems.

REALLY, REALLY think that...

We will see. At least it will be a fair comparison with the same shitty Oline.

Ill give you all my Rod dollars if There is some magical offensive bump.

And would be happy to be wrong. But I’ve seen this rerun before.
I'm pissed about their ignoring of the line. But I felt that way last year too.

I think this team is going to score a ton of points. Come the playoffs however when it gets real up front they'll wilt. But the draft isn't over yet so gonna cross my fingers and hope I'm wrong.

They pick number 102 RT? I've asked 3 times how do we not get that and another pick a 5th or 6th whatever equal. Pick 102 and 103 would have been awesome.
We should have gotten back something, shit anything, 5th pick would have closed that gap.

Shit if they need a negotiator I'd volunteer to talk to those Whiners.

"Listen Rateface we need your 5th to even up this trade and I'll throw in a wheel of cheese and ol Cheat Carrols old crusty whitey tighties as well. Fedex you the package first thing tomorrow"

If Meinerz could play Guard or Center at the NFL level he'd be off the board. But don't tell that to every Rams fan around here because we all disagree with those teams.
Agreed. But I already said he can't play guard or center. I said he will play guard year one. Guards are not in vogue and teams are probably scared by his weight and lack of film.

It's fun when you can disagree with everybody then shrug off the same argument used against you :D

Then what's the point? Not gonna win championships ignoring the trenches.

I had Subway for dinner too. It was good but Joe Biden wasn't part of the Mars flight last month so not sure why Tom Brady didn't retire.
Yeah-- but the coffee table markings say otherwise. How can you spread the zone when that ship has sailed? Put on yer jacket, 'cuz the truth hurts!

They've upgraded the chart. The old one says we got our butt thrashed......the new one says we won. The new one has a bunch of "partial" points, which was probably developed by someone who needed to justify their picks the weekend before. But it really comes down to how you see the talent pool playing out.
If you feel you can get your guy or someone of comparable value by moving down, go ahead a get an extra pick. We usually trade down, so it's not a surprise.

Probably should have traded down at #57 because we could have gotten the same quality player a round later.

Even if he's not an outside CB, he can play safety and the slot. But the thing is that we don't have a scheme that is like most other schemes. The two things he lacks, height and elite speed, aren't as important in our scheme (unless they're changing it in a major way).
We're loaded at safety jrry. If he can't play outside the slot then when Ramsey moves inside he has to come off. That's probably why they didn't prioritize him.

Slot CBs drop in the draft every year. Those guys don't have the supply/demand issue like the guys who have the quicks to man up outside.

You didn't say good drafting you said "very good drafting" sorry but zero pro bowlers and zero all pro doesn't equal very good drafting. Who cares how many home grown players we have if none of them are difference makers?
So Akers at end of roubd 2 was just so so.

Yeah, Cooper Kupp, John Johnson, and Joe Noteboom in the 3rd was just okay.

Or Fuller and Day in the 6th was "Ehh, not bad."

Come on, you have to look at the value and bang for the buck on those picks then compare to what other teams do.

And sure they miss as does every team, but they have done very well or they wouldn't have the success that they have had without first rounders.

If anything maybe question some of their trades like Cooks & Watkins.

It's fun when you can ignore that the single biggest determination on where Molden will go has to do with whether he can play outside the hashes.

We discussed this earlier dude. I pointed it out to you then and you ignored the logic just like you're doing now.
