I'm with you man. Only thing that matters are fall Sundays and Mondays. Sometimes Thursday. All these picks just contribute toward that goal.

We hope all the picks contribute to that lmao!!!! Part of why we are so invested. Fingers crossed tutu is a great one along with the rest of the crop.

I’m remembering that first year how often they ran that play with gurley up the middle and Avery on a sweep. Guessing they want to bring that back with a potential play action off both.
New QB processes quickly and can read defenses well. Not saying I’d do it, but I can see it.

Yea the speed sweeps with Tavon/Cooks in '17/18 have definitely been missing. Woods just doesn't have the speed to consistently get around the edge and teams didn't respect it as much. That wont be the case next year.

Another thing to point out regarding the OL. We will almost certainly grab one with one of our 3rd rounders, but maybe the "perceived" OL issues weren't as bad as most thought and a good amount was on the QB. Yes Blythe wasn't good, but I just think back to the Miami game and how terrible Goff was at identifying the blitz and getting to his hot routes and/or changing the play. A quick glance at that game and you could blame the OL or McVay, but when you really watched the film it was bad QB play. I think by just upgrading to Stafford and his ability to read the d/change protection/audible to something different based on pre snap recognition, that naturally equates to improvement up front.

All that said lets move up and grab Meinerz just to be sure

If the Rams wanted him they could probably get him for a late rounder tbh. That would be some funny shit.

I'm no expert on anything but i do feel like i have a decent pulse on McSnead.
I get it too, I made the post earlier today detailing exactly that thing that all of us expect what we think they should draft will never be met. But I'm sorry I cannot be happy with this pick. As with all Rams players as I say every time I'll root for him. But this is a terrible pick and not much other than him being the best damned 5th WR in the NFL will change that opinion. This was bad with so many obvious needs.

Or they really are moving Corbett to C and grab a OG/OT or go DL or LB.
