Does that really mean anything? Now we see Creed late 2nd. That's really late, but each team sees it their way and I have trust.

Course that's the point of the draft and why we are here and they are there. Just logically speaking seemed like a panicked pick plan "b" and now Blythe and creed are together got to love the irony there.

Okay... just hear me out for a second...

With Carberry, I think they feel CONFIDENT in getting our OL at our next pick.

And we NEED someone to amp up the return game.

And that 4.27 speed is LEGIT.

I'm warming up to the pick.

And if it means that McVay sees a way to exploit the bigger DBs and Safeties like Adams with smaller, faster players... that's good for us.

And you can BET Reggie gonna get him on some heavy shakes... fo sho!!!
One hit from Adams and season over

So with four good WR's and questions on the OL and after losing a CB that took 95% of our defensive snaps our priority is a 150lb WR. Sorry forgot we're not supposed to question the front offices moves.

The game is won in the trenches so I would have not been thrilled with Eskridge there either but more so than Tutu. We need to have faith though. The Snead covid thing doesn't help though especially if his symptoms are strong.

Seriously. He's far too light. 150, he'll get murdered on the field. He makes Tavon look like Yao.
As mentioned, Jojo Natson returned punts and he's listed as 5'7" and 152, which is smaller than Tutu, who's listed (perhaps generously) as 5-9" and 165.

Gotta think the Rams have asked Tutu if he's open to trying out at PR? Rams have a glaring need there, and given the injury risk I highly doubt they'd wanna go with either Kupp or Desean. And Nsimba's gotta go now, right?

Who would return punts if it ain't Desmond Tutu?

Still gutted the Rams passed on OL

Rams have been linked to Drew Dalman the Stanford center per Ian Rapoport. Maybe we target him in the 3rd or 4th?

One other thing about Atwell and our WR depth chart. Maybe we throw out some 4-WR sets. Stafford played A LOT of time in shotgun with 5 wide. So we can roll 4WR + Higbee and rotate our WRs. Plus the versatility he offers in the jet sweep game. Plus he's insurance for DJax's injury history. And he'll be able to learn a lot from DJax who is a similar type WR. Again, he's a very good player I just didnt think we needed to spend a premium pick on WR after going Jefferson last year. And 150lbs does really scare me not going to lie. The lightest WR drafted in the last 22 years??? My god what a risk.

Natson as a comp for Atwell TBH makes the pick even worse. And while he's listed at 165lbs they just said he's lost weight.

Atwell is 5'7", and he's been listed at 149 lbs. No way he's 165 lbs.

Doesn't really matter who they actually took to me. But if they really liked the other guys they would've taken them. He's not "our guy", but that doesn't mean it was the "wrong guy".

.

well they said mcvay thinks this guy is djax jr.

this will be the deep threat once djax is gone, or injured. whichever comes first.

not expecting many snaps for him every game.

.
This insinuates what they think of DJax and Jefferson tbh. They figure DJax will get injured quickly. And they figure Jefferson won't move the needle.

The Chiefs understand the value of an OL.
Yes and unfortunately so does the 9ers. They're gonna fucking bully us this season.

Its utterly painful to look at the draft board and like EVERY single player taken since our pick, better then our pick (ok Trask would have been terrible pick too).

Atwell feels like Donnie Avery all over again.

Agreed. He was only drafted as high as he was because he ran fast. So does a track star, but you're hopefully not drafting someone like him with your first round pick, especially at 5'7", 149 lbs.
