It won't matter. It mattered at the moment that I said it though when the trade was made. Just thought it was quite a haul that's all. That said if he is everything they want course 3 1st rounders wouldn't matter after the fact of course.

Too many ppl look at what a team "gave up" or the "haul" a team gets. We don't really a lot after that tho. Shoot your shot. Get the guy.

One thing re: Slater I really liked is his awareness. You see him switching targets so smoothly. Lot of vet NFL OL can't do that.

Fine addition to the Chargers. Those fucks.

I'm sure on paper he is but Chase is so much better than Higgins you can't honestly even try to compare them.
How so? Higgins actually played and proved it, Chase hasn't done anything yet. Every year some WR from the first is going to ball out, but it ended up being Jefferson last year. Chase is TBD, Higgins actually did it. Higgins only going to be much better with a year of experience. Not saying Chase can't develop to that, but don't discount Higgins. Bengals obviously think it's important to get Burrow more weapons even though he got knocked on his ass until he got knocked out for the year. We'll see if that plan pays off.

Huge for them, an immediate starter and upgrade at LT with Bulaga at RT as long as he can dodge the Chargers injury curse.

You got it. I'm done here it's clear that Chase was a waste of a pick and will be their #3 WR.

Again I agree...on the moment it it's quite the haul. Lastly yes shoot your shot but it's also different to shoot your shot when an organisation is coming from strength like the rams or to shoot from desperation can set a franchise back 5 years. Not looking to have a that discussion. Just a comment live and in the moment as if I was sitting at a bar. Bears fan I'm thrilled if I'm a giant fan I'm thrilled so yea I get it.

Smart move by the Chargers to maximize the potential of their great young qb Justin Herbert.

Chargers are going to be the real deal under Staley.

They're gonna be huge keeping that Wilson blindside clean. Gave up a bit to move up but have some decent weapons and can add to it in the 2nd still. Still have work to do on that OLine but Davis, Mims, Cole and Doctson is a decent group. Add in a RB maybe at the top of the 2nd?

Etienne or Harris? Yeah, I could see that.
