I only bring up his name as he's been speculated upon a good deal as being one of those guys who might garner a better trade opportunity or higher value draft pick.

I certainly understand we'd get a lot of bites for him, but it's more likely in a year or 2 that it would be easier to trade him, if the Rams decided to go that route and not get bit in the ass by his dead money. The Rams are definitely limited by who they can put out as trade bait since they're already dealing with a ton of dead money. Ultimately, I'm against trading him as he's too valuable to our team. It would have to be a trade that would literally be considered retarded as fuck (meaning we really get over on the other team in the deal) to make me be ok with it. The one caveat I will say is the Rams do some crazy stuff so you can't ever rule out anything with them.

Basically just saying we'd have to get an offer we just couldn't refuse for me to be ok with trading Kupp. Not saying we'll ever get that type of offer. Just think he's that important to our team.

Woods and Hav are also in the same boat for me. Brockers getting traded is ok with me thanks to Robinson, Gaines, and Sebastian-Day. We'll see if the Rams agree as it's going to be interesting to see to what they do to get under the CAP.

Brocker or Havenstien but not Woods. Woods is the #1 receiver on the Rams and you don't trade your #1 receiver.

It is likely there will be at least 8 (likely more) WR gone by the time the Rams make their first selection.....which I doubt will be a WR.
Likely looking at 3rd round at the earliest.

Trading Kupp is not smart at all. It would create more unnecessary dead money. A restructure is more likely.

1.5 mill dead cap in 2021 and pushes 3 mill dead cap in to 2022. And you have to replace the player. There is no savings until you calculate the cost of who replaces him

Like I said in an earlier post, it would have to be a trade that blows the Rams completely away. I just don't see it happening as replacing his knowledge and production will be difficult as hell plus costly.

Its 4.5 mill of dead money either way its sliced, but more importantly the player needs to be replaced, so ultimately it costs the same or more money with no guarantee of duplicating his success
