. But yeah, memories are short for some things…unfortunately. I mean, the public statute of limitations on beating pregnant girlfriends is disgustingly short…

Edit: didn’t see the mod note.
Nowadays can one judge such a thing? Anyways, Rams should have made that deal in hindsight.

Well, one thing is for sure.
If Goff can look good playing in that mess, he will for sure legitimize himself as a high level QB
He’ll find one guy that is sorta reliable and lean on him. Probably Williams or Hockenson will be his main targets. So basically a guy will get 900 yards and the rest will be in the 300-400 range. Yep, that defines a hot mess.

Hockenson will be double teamed.

So maybe Williams?

If he wins 6 games he will be considered the best QB they have had in yrs when you consider no Jones or Goladay.

I might be underestimating Kiser here but that would surprise me. He's too much like the typical JAG depth ILBs you see floating around the league and final cuts. Guy is not special in any way so why waste a pick on him unless he knows your scheme and you need someone to be able to plug right in potentially but even then you can probably wait on cuts and claim him.

Tradeable types who are potential cuts are Perkins and Hekker. Outside those two I don't know how much a market there will be for any of our castoffs. We'll see some get claimed but teams actually give up a pick for them? Unlikely.

People make fun of late round picks but Garrett shows how taking a shot on them can be valuable. :laugh2:
