Herbert has a very high ceiling. Whether he reaches that ceiling is the question. He has two advantages. He can hold a clipboard this year and the Chargers have an option year next year on Taylor. Also, he has talent at RB, WR and TE with a decent defense. If the Chargers have a problem it's on the o-line. So they have two QBs who can run and Herbert is surprisingly fast for a guy his size. He can outrun some LBs.

They are better off with Herbert than the Fins are with Tua and they needed a QB so it was a logical pick. I'm shocked the Fins didn't take Herbert instead of Tua. If he couldn't stray healthy in college how will he stay healthy in the NFL?

Cardinals get a stud and it sucks to see my guy go there but glad they aren't protecting that little QB of theirs.

Good pick. Lots of potential with Simmons. I am sort of glad they didn’t grab the top WR to be honest.

Simmons is pretty damn good but I think their pressing need was protecting their QB.

At pick #8 they couldn't lose. The Trey and Golic show had a mock with ESPN talk radio jocks making each of their home team picks. The Cardinals guy took Ruggs. Most thought OT which is more risk but, I think a better move to protect Murray.

Simmons is scary though. Rams will have to account for him on every play.
