In the 7th round you are looking for future depth and ST's guys. Clay Johnson fits that mold. He's an ILB with limited athleticism and marginal speed for the position. But he plays hard and might provide depth at some point in a year or two. These 7th rounders are basically like the UDFA's they will sign with the advantage the Rams don't have to compete to sign them.
