While I like the idea of Wolford as a back-up I'd also like another option. Someone who is mobile enough to roll out from the pocket. I'd say Bortles, but he just can't seem to put it all together to beat out Wolfy

I'm still in a bit of shock that Winston is not signed and really doesn't appear to have much of an opportunity for a starting gig. Yeah, he definitely had some mental lapses and threw picks, but, so did a young Manning. Can't tell me he's not better then Foles/Trubisky, Fitzpatrick, Stidham, Minshew, ect. ect. Crazy or not, but, I'd love a big trade package from someone team like the Pats/Dolphins/Jags for Goff, sign Winston and restock with the picks. If he can cut his picks in half, he's a All Pro QB. Perhaps his eye surgery will improve that?

I dont think an eye surgery will fix Winston's lack of maturity, poor decisions or mental lapses when things get tough for him in a game.

One thing about all these QBs, do the have the ego to hold a clipboard? Newton, Winston and Dalton are all guys that want to start and feel like they deserve to be starters. I don't see many if any places for them to go be a starter except for New England so it'll be interesting to see what the others do.
Or all three go to New England and have a battle royale with Stidham for the week one starting job.
